Behold: The 1,474-Megapixel Picture of Obama’s InaugurationPosted on Jan 26, 2009
Using special equipment, photographer David Bergman was able to capture a massive image of the inauguration. With resolution like that, you can see what generation iPhone Yo-Yo Ma is sporting, and a whole lot more. Check out the full-screen view for crazy fun, or the smaller version below. The photographer explains how he did it—and takes orders for prints—on his blog. This is the coolest thing I have seen, in a long time! Dick C…looks fantastic in the wheel chair, in black, you can almost hear his hissing…Bush looks like he is taking it well too! One could have fun with little cartoon caption dialogs above main participants….What a historic event and so many pixels!
