‘Daily Show’: Fear Grips Fox NewsPosted on Jan 23, 2009
Just hours into the Obama presidency, Fox News stalwarts Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and that blond she-anchor with the helmet hair were practically shaking in their conservative shoes over the horrors that await all Americans—including YOUR children—if things keep going the scary way they’re going. Will terrorists take over our shores? And is Rush Limbaugh molting? Watch and learn. I thought the episode WAS funny…however The Daily Show is no better than Fox news…when it showed Limbaugh’s words it DIDNT show what was REALLY said…same as with Hannity’s words. What was said was that Obama is spending money like it is going out of style, and is going to tax the hell out of people, and is BUILDING the government into a massive machine…in effect reinstituting Socialism. Socialism has FAILED in every incarnation, and since Obama’s goal IS to change America to a socialist nation they WANT Obama to FAIL.
So do I. I dont want America to become a socialist country because it has been proven to be a failure. I also dont want to saddle my great grandchildren with multi-trillion dollar debts and deficits because the government is too stupid to figure out an intelligent way to stimulate growth and the economy.
If you DO, you are an idiot.

How many Republicans have completely sequestered themselves into social groups that are so limited to ideological agreement, they really believe the majority shares thier views, because the majority of their associates are in agreement.
I would bet Karl Rove knows hardly a singe person with whom he freely associates, who has the opportunity or the tenacity to tell him how wrong he is.
Like Rush, Sean and Bill-O, there is little doubt they choose not to associate or show respect for anyone who might try to persuade them that they are wrong. And thereby, they protect thier delusions.

That was a great Daily Show episode. I marvel at FOX—I feel like those people live on a completely different planet. Wishful thinking, I guess…
