Coulter Definitely Not Banned From NBC, Shows Mug to Prove ItPosted on Jan 7, 2009
Conservative scarecrow Ann Coulter insists she was banned by NBC, and to prove it, she accepted the network’s invitation to appear on air. Wait a second! The ban, like so much of what Coulter talks about, seems to exist only in her head and the pages of the Drudge Report. As Media Matters points out, Coulter’s latest book attacks those evil liberals for pretending to be victims, so it’s possible this is a kind of performance art. But now that we know Coulter isn’t banned, we can’t help wondering, why not? Oh, for NBC to have gone along with the nut’s self-imposed ban. That, or give her some sugar lumps and some mares to breed with.

Seems odd though that Ms. Coulter attacks the ONLY parent putting in the hard work to raise a child doesn’t it? Marriage does not make one a parent, it makes one a spouse.
Having children makes one a parent. Yet, Coulter attacks the mother who she herself claims is THERE making the attempt to care for their child. However, she completely disregards the father, whom she also acknowledges IS ABSENT.
Ms. Coulter, your logic is faulty. If a child needs both parents “there”, which dependant upon the situation is debatable, why do you attack the parent who IS THERE WORKING HARD to raise their child and completely disregard deadbeat dads/parents who are irresponsible regarding their own child’s well being?

I watched Matt Lauer attempt to interview “Ms. Colder-than-a-”. Her main points were: 1. Matt would not let her speak her mind and therefore was a left-wing mainstream media schlub 2. She wants to refer to the Pres-Elect by his middle name since nobody asked him any “real questions” during the campaign except “how do his parents feel” (she repeated this oddball mantra throughout the interview). Any time Matt tried to switch topics, he was met with a barrage of false grins and accusations about his supposed motives and that he would not even let her say “half a sentence”. Unfortuantely, Matt never asked Annie-bones how interviewers had fared asking Obama’s parents about their feelings - perhaps because they are “gone” (?). Lucky for her, Matt did mention her new book several time and you have to admit she is consistent. If her books are anything like what she says on TV, I for one cannot imagine spending a farthing on her books - I’ll wait for the comic book versions to appear at the local library. NBC did its penance by letting Ms. Phony-christian appear without paying for her advertising.

I admit I have not read more than a book jacket cover to any of Ann Coulter’s books- nor more than a few sentences of anything she has written- but I could not miss how anti-Christ, her Christianity is.
In a 2004 column, Coulter summarized her view of Christianity: “Jesus’ distinctive message was: People are sinful and need to be redeemed, and this is your lucky day because I’m here to redeem you even though you don’t deserve it, and I have to get the crap kicked out of me to do it…I’m a Christian first and a mean-spirited, bigoted conservative second, and don’t you ever forget it…Christianity fuels everything I write.”[1]
Christianity fuels everything I write too.
There is nothing Christian about mean-spiritedness, bigotry or conservatism.
God created all beings and all things and said they were all good!
Coulter was raised with a silver spoon and by a Catholic father. I came of age in lower middle class Levittown, with two Catholic parents. Neither Ann nor I are members of any particular denomination, and we are poles apart on what Jesus was all about.
On October 8, 2007, Coulter was quoted as saying that Jews should be “perfected” into Christians…and that Christians considered themselves to be perfected Jews. [Ibid]
If ONLY Christians would follow the religion Jesus actually taught, and look within their own imperfect hearts, focus on the work needing to be done there; we would inhabit a very different world.
The Rest:
