Only in the senate would a low down slime bucket that has been stealing from the voters for years in an arrogant pugnacious way get a standing ovation.

All that participated can drop any claim to personal integrity, or being people of “God” and faith.  And they can stop pretending they are anything but an isolated. out of touch, low down club of fools and worse.

A standing ovation for an official forced from office by his inability to be honest. This wasn’t about his personal life, but his marketing of his office. This is an endemic affliction of our political bodies. We pay them great benefits and a reasonable wage to administer our government and they almost all fail to keep their hands out of the cookie jar. Now they stand up to applaude one of their own leaving because of his crime.

That of course is my problem with President Obama being so inclined to kiss and make up, at lest Lieberman should have been thrown out with the trash. He can not after what he has done ever be trusted with anything. It is time for America to stop letting criminal lawmakers and others to waltz out the door with their benifits intact. Put them on the lowest rung of SS at lest.

Wonder which fishy deal his colleagues are applauding?  Is it Veco, Semco, the Florida condo, the bridge to nowhere, the smelly fish deal, his race horse partnership, the 2.7 million that Steven’s got for his buddy’s road?
