Just in time for the (post-)election, KCRW’s “Left, Right & Center” panelists Matt Miller, Tony Blankley, Arianna Huffington and Robert Scheer appeared together for a live show at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica on Sunday, braving a packed house as they took stock of the state of the union and discussed what might come next.

Call me biased…of course, there’s a reason for that.  A very good one.

My mother, 84yrs. old remembers Robert Scheer, with endearment.  And unbeknownst to myself all these years, we happened to be in total agreement.  I was enlightened to the premise that she found in Scheer a voice of truth.  I agree.  My mother’s an incredible person, although not as spry as she used to be.  If you can move my mother (now a questioning fundamentalist Christian)... a hard sell… you can move mountains, screw the molehills.  Thank you Robert Scheer, it seems your voice is multi-dimensional.  But then facts certainly lend themselves to that inevitability…don’t they?

As to the others, some great points…others, a little overly optimistic.  Such as it is, remember…. everybody bleeds and the presumption that things will get better over time, will be little compensation for those will will bleed to death waiting.

There’s an arrogance to others’ suffering in America.  More of a malignancy really… and from some of the panel’s comments it appears that, we haven’t yet invented the prescription of cure.

That was one of the best and most informative programs I’ve seen in a long time. Please keep up the great work.
