The campaign is over, but Sarah Palin took the spotlight back with her to Alaska. As one reader put it, this clip “goes from awkward to sad to depressing back to awkward.”

Must be an incredibly wrenching moment when driving and the road changes direction.

The media love celebrities now since they are trying to get ratings. I hated it when the news media decided that they were an entertainment media instead of news.

Does anyone have the URL where Sarah Palin raises political contributions for her political campaigns. Not the McCain/Palin site but one exclusively for her use and control.

I went to the Alaska URL and they have a Law forbidding the personal use of their site as per the following excerpt.
“” http://gov.state.ak.us/govoffices/  Alaska law prohibits use of state equipment or resources for campaign or partisan political purposes. Please do not send any messages to these addresses or make calls to these telephone numbers concerning campaign or partisan political activities.””

What’s sad about this whole debacle is the total disregard in which the electorate was held, this time, by McCain and the GOP.  Out of all the qualified people that could have been selected out from behind a tree appears an unknown amateurish Sarah Palin and with a gun to boot!  McCain kept spouting experience and then expects his followers to fall for this pandering——McCain and the GOP showed no respect and they got what they deserved.

Raise your hand if you give a shit what Sarah Palin thinks or says. Her best shot is as a talking head on FUX News.

Sarah who?  Why waste time exposing her any further.  If she’s taking Ted Stevens’ place so be it.  Alaska politics are a little backwards to begin with.  If she takes the time to actually step outside of her bubble and inform herself about the world, she might be decent who knows?  If she doesn’t, she will be marginalized eventually.  The new face of the Republican party belongs to people like Sam Brownback and Bobby Jindal. In other words, intellectual conservatives who are little closer to the political center(like McCain ironically, only younger).  They are the ones to watch out for not Sarah Palin.

Note how she keeps smacking her lips and/or picking her teeth with her tongue?  Must have just had a mooseburger!  She is wired…can’t stop talking…and she’s not learned a thing.  She’s far too defensive about the “clothes in her closet.”  ALSO!

What a complete idiot and let’s hope she stays “here in Alaska,” but I doubt that she will. Her departure from Phoenix on Wednesday afternoon was like that of royalty.  We dodged a bullet with her and McCain’s defeat, but she’ll be in the Senate just as soon as she can get there…much to my sorrow.

Praise the LORD!!! I am just grateful to GOD that we don’t have to hear that grating beauty-queen-dumb voice blathering on mindlessly anymore. The pageant is finally over. Miss Congeniality can take her consolation prizes and finally be gone forever.

The bottom line is Palin digraced the state, coming off as a Category 5 dunderhead and sanctimonious demogogue. Then, after snidely disparaging her very able and competent competition in the ugliest way in which she was capable, she lost the election in a way that was both undeniable and irrefutable. What’s worst, her handlers now hold Palin responsible for the ticket’s defeat. Everyone on the McCain bus is blaming someone other than himself for selecting Palin, including McCain.

By the time the dust from this fiasco settles, even after much cleaning up, there will still be too much dust remaining for Palin to see retaining the governor’s office in the next election, let alone a 2012 Presidential run. With any luck, she can use that SNL tape to qualify for a host slot with Alaskan media. If that doesn’t work out for her, there’s always Avon or the airlines. The airlines always need attendants to sell peanuts and Pepsi on their flights. Her silk-drawered husband and kids can then all fly at reduced rates. And, if she lucky and manages to get international flights, she’ll actually have foreign policy experience for her next national run for public office.

Interesting… she’s all for equality for women, but somehow gays can’t get married. If the bible is to be followed on the latter, then I’d expect the God-fearing governor to toe the line on the former, and be subservient to the First Dude. Double standards all round. Yup, yup. Also.

Man oh, man! Her concept of the media is in lock step with what the conservative owners live up to for our country. Imagine her confounding the media with trashing the republican and her campaign. Until this monopoly is broken up and regulated away from 4 or 5 CONSERVATIVE owners, information in the US will remain dumbing down, veg the people and keep em stupid msm agendas.
Don’t suppose she has read much of english newspapers from other countries?
She would really be a dangerous person as president or vp, but a perfect toy of conservative agendas via the msm.
