John McCain was dignified and gracious in the face of overwhelming defeat Tuesday night. Barack Obama embraced his moment in history with yet another incredible speech. It brought tears to Jesse Jackson’s eyes and to countless others around the country.

His speech brought tears to my eyes too.  The problem is that history gives us many great orators- some of whom were not nice people once in power.  Think about it.  What’s behind that silver forked tounge?

Not sure what the point would be in “standing behind the world’s largest podium.” Did the writer mean “lectern,” perhaps?
