Actually I need to add to my own posting! Many times in Alaska, PREFERENCE is given to Alaskan Natives for jobs etc. There are sometimes hiring requirements with Alaskan companies. I too am an Alaskan Native and a Native Alaskan

Yes, I’m sure the “white man” is really keeping them down. I would hope that the interviewer found her comment as offensive as I do. It’s like saying I know what’s it’s like to be a Holocaust survivor because I have a friend who is Jewish.

What jumps out even more than her claim that her family lives with racism is the statement that the constitution “preaches”. This woman is uber scary. Does she get that the Constitution and the Bible are two separate documents?
