Who would have guessed that the “Monday Night Football” candidate interviews would turn out to be so bizarre? ESPN’s normally affable Chris Berman asked questions with a perplexing intensity while John McCain sounded as if he was in a vacuum cleaner showroom.

Why are politics part of monday night football?
This is ludicrous.
The sports networks and sportscasters should continue with what they know best—sports.

Perplexing intensity? normally affable? what is the matter with you—this interview was fine for all concerned. Intro completely misleading.
