It seems we are going to become more dependent on government for our survival. This is the same government that has tortured and falsely imprisoned innocent people at Gitmo. This is the same government that spies on us and keeps secrets from us. This is the same government that makes war on its own citizens both economically and militarily. And we are going to be dependent on it for jobs, food, and shelter through this engineered bankers’ depression. If this were a family relationship between an abusive father and his children and wife, we would gasp at the despair of it all. After all the treason, and bad faith, we are asked to trust a regime change to make it all better again. How are we different from the Indians who were herded into reservations? There is no lesser of the two evils. We just have evil.
