The actors from arguably the most annoying commercial ever have reprised their roles for a more constructive purpose than selling beer. Now if only the Verizon guy would come out against warrantless wiretapping.

This parody is almost good enough to justify the existence of the awful original.  Clever way to integrate Iraq, the financial crisis and Katrina into a very funny commercial.

At first i assumed that the spot would be as inane as the original, but i’ll give credit where credit is due: it’s a good one.

Watched together, the two spots certainly give a profound picture of the track our nation has taken. It almost makes me pine for the good ole days of the roaring 90’s.
