McCain the Press
msnbc.com

In response to former Secretary of State Colin Powell’s endorsement of Barack Obama last week, John McCain boasted on “Meet the Press” of the five former secretaries of state who have thrown their support behind his own candidacy. Yet braggadocio ran into bungle when McCain tried to name all five, twice getting only to four, and looking a bit shaky in the process.

Purple Girl pretty much covered it.  I have only one question….....Why does that “liberal” media ignore the signs of senility in this old coot?

Do they have a clue what it could mean if this person becomes president?  And we haven’t even gotten around to mentioning his incompetent, giggly, school girl side kick.

Tom Brokaw lacks oratory skills. Tim Russert was a fantatic question man on that TV show. He would ask in depth questions and not be steered of course. Brokaw sounds like a tired, old man - because he is.

...proving with certaintry that some Jurassic coot’s can’t fill their Depends and carry on any sort of conversation at the same time. Gramps had to break, drop that steaming load, and pick up where he left off, no matter that the commentator had already advanced two topics away.

The entire staff and crew were happy they only had to entertain Gramps for ten minutes. The stench was god-awful unbearable after two minutes.

It seems McCain is stuck on that word “my friend”, could he not remember the person inverviewing him has a name called Tom.

He did not say anything original just his same ol same ol taking points, should this man ever run the white house this country is going down because he has not a clue as to how the middle class is strugling, not a clue.

Watching and listening to him being interviewed is like listening to finger nails being scraped across a chalk board. He should have used this approach with the North Vietnamese they would have personally delivered him to Washington.

I’ve never before been unable to watch the debates all the way through until this year. He is so aggravating to listen to. I can’t believe the person interviewing doesn’t just stop him and ask, can you please just answer what I asked. I probably would get up and leave and say this guy’s an idiot.

The entire interview is bazaar. He did not utter one single creative or original sentence, and in many cases he disregarded the question to stick with the talking point.

We all get ‘brain farts’, but it’ show we Recover from it that tells far more about mental processes.
Mac had to start all over agian , like a drunk screwing up the Alphabet during a sobriety test. could have been worse, he could have had a lil’ song he used to remember them too.
His real mental agility was proven lacking when he clustered it regarding Murtha comments. It took him about 5 sentence to get back on track. When all he had to add was ‘If I hated small town americans’or even the cliche ‘Not!’.then he blew the Noun, ‘Couldn’t agree with’ ‘Him’ changed to ‘You’.It’s as if the Senetence all became jumbled together which indicate the concept was not guiding the speech. In fact it appears his mind did not catch the screw up for a second. A time lapse between expression and recognition. He had no control over how it would come out (forward linear thought process). His Impulses and rehearsed script were in over drive, but his Mind was not computing.
Mac can’t get out of these very typical Faux pa’s because his mind is unable to come up with avenues of escape or redirection. So he stumbles through until his words, not his thoughts bring him back on to the path.
Mac probably never realized until that nights coverage that he said “My Fellow Prisoners”- he doesn’t have the instantaneous psychological Feedback. No Doubt it happens to Us all, an Hour later we go’ shit did I say that’, but Mac’s is consistent, thus not a moment but a pattern.
We’ve seen this movie before and ignored all those obvious signs, His name was Ronald Reagan.Great orator my ass, He was a babbling idiot even before his Alzhiemers began to show through -and that WAS Before he left office.
These are not ‘Senior Moments’ they are ‘Senile Moments’, and these are just the ones we See!
