xyzaffair: I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. However, after the weekend of her then trying to blame Chris Matthews for “tricking” her, the newest excuse for foot-in-mouth disease that has struck the Republican party this year, I could no longer in good conscience allow her a free pass.

It is unfortunate that the Republican party continues to divide this nation into subgroups, but it is easier to walk in and totally take over when you have the little people fighting among themselves to the point they no longer know what is happening to them until it is to late. Those of us who have not been “brainwashed” see what is happening and a appalled by it. America is no longer what it was when I was a child. We were not perfect, but what we have today is a malignancy of the soul.

One would hope that the current term is the last one that will be served in the House by Michelle “Joe McCarthy” Bachmann.

She called many honorable and hardworking men and women “anti-American” for their views, which did not match hers.  How dare she make such absurd comments, when it was the Republican Party, that had started this obscenity in the first place with Ronald Reagan.
President Reagan, the voodoo economics president, started the US on a path of deregulation, which we are just now seeing the fruits of.
Should we “worship” a man, for whom the busting of unions was a daily occurrence before breakfast, who disdained the idea that the working man and woman, had a voice in the running of this government?  I, believe not.
Most if not all of the economic policies that are now in place are the direct result of the “supply side, trickle down economic theory,”  of the Chicago School of Economics, led by Milton Freidman.
Nothing has trickled down to the working poor, while the rich have been getting richer, on the backs of those people who are wage-slaves in the factories and sweatshops of the companies that are devising more and more ways to separate the American economy and worker from the jobs that have made this country great.
Globalism is an extremely dirty word, this policy has raped the American worker of his livelihood and taken every last incentive for working at one job for their lives. Then retiring to a comfortable place with resources to use for the rest of their lives.
Now we have the true results of the voodoo economics at work, the global crisis in financial institutions is of the elites making, this is because they required the governments to step out of their regulatory role and leave these men and women to their own devices. Now these same people want the governments to bail them out!  This is nothing more than socialism on a grand and glorious scale.
The people, the taxpayer, makes the rich richer, while slaving at jobs that are meaningless. All the while being taxed more and more, through gasoline taxes, road taxes, tire taxes, and on and on.
Should these men and women, who work to make a better America, take this kind of slur lying down? Should they be called anti-American for their wish to have a job that is worthwhile, that pays them a living wage, that helps with their retirement and have medical insurance or health plans that do not eat up more than their salaries?
If Rep. Bachmann, wishes, I would gladly take her today, to places where men and women are struggling to make ends meet, these people sometimes have 3 generations living in their house which is now going to be foreclosed on, because of the economic policies of the elite to which she belongs.
Let her live like the normal American and let’s see if she remains as strident as she does. I, truly believe that if these super elite could walk a mile in my shoes they would not long suffer their own policies and would choose a people’s revolution over the status quo.
