‘SNL’ Bush Endorses McCainPosted on Oct 24, 2008
While the McCain campaign is doing everything it can to distance itself from the presidency of George W. Bush, “SNL” still managed to imagine how an endorsement from the commander in chief would go, and how gosh-darn down-home a Bush/Palin administration might really have been. Well, ain’t that good news!
This endorsement should help Gramps and the Ice Princess supplant Wally Mondale and Jurassic Gerri in the Guiness Book for Election Blowouts.

Formally, George Bush is the lame duck president, however, McCain is even a “lamer” and “ducker” presidency seeker!

Seems like the world had to fall on it’s face to bring out some real humor.
“A no bummer zone” is what we have all been sold for way more then 8 years. We bought that hogwash with a smile, ignored mass bummers we were causing others and expected we could go on waging wars on credit, driving our hummers and watching TV forever. Or until the rapture, whichever came first.
Gallows humor is better then no humor.
