The California governor told CNN’s Campbell Brown that Sarah Palin will be ready to be president “by the time ... she’s sworn in.” What’s that about on-the-job training?

She’ll be as ready to be the president of the USA as you were to be the government of California.  Did I hear something about a seven billion dollar payday loan for the state of California?

To all the people who are justifying her preparedness by saying she has executive experience cause she’s been a governor…George W. Bush was a governor also, and look how prepared he was.  Utterly inept and dangerous are how I describe his two terms as President after two terms as Texas governor.  Sarah Palin may have been Governor (still is) of Alaska but her responses and actions have proven that she would be (if this is humanly possible) even more unready to lead than Dubya!  So, go cry yourself a river, but Barack & Biden are light years ahead of both Palin and McAngry.

I am very familiar with Palin’s “work” as governor and
of her “formal” education experience. She has been
correctly described as not being interested in the “details” of governing. The paper mills where she spent most of her time “hanging out” did not even adequately prepare her to pass a typical high school exit exam.
Palin was “left behind” in her education. She is a functioning illiterate with no REAL executive experience. She is a face without a functioning brain.

The gist of Governor Arnold’s answer is that Sarah Palin is not quite ready yet, but if she has the will to learn, to improve she will eventually get there.  But from what I have heard/seen/read about Ms. Palin she is painfully lacking the intellect curiosity and an objective motivation to learn anything beyond the boundaries of her turf, so it’s likely she will never get there at all.  I think it’s a tragedy that just because of the misjudgment of one man the whole United States with a population of 300 million people have to ponder the a choice of such an unqualified person for the second most important job in the country.

Why don’t we ask Joe “the Presidency doesn’t lend itself to on the job training” Biden whether or not Obama is ready? Sarah Palin isn’t running for the office of the President of these United States. She’s second on the ticket. If Obama had one iota of executive experience this would be a no brainer.
I would much rather have a woman (Palin)with two years of executive experience than a man (Biden) with 25 years of legislative experience anyday. McCain is Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more qualified than Obama and Palin has more executive experience than Biden…. game over? Only in this country of ignorance would we even be debating this. Repeating the mantra “Change” doesn’t a good president make.

Facts are facts.  Governor Palin is the only person in this presidential election with executive experience!  This is not a republican vs democrat issue. She is receiving extremely unfair criticism!  She is extremely smart!  You don’t have to go to Harvard or have a law degree to be smart.  And you cannot judge someone for the number of years it took them to complete their education.  You do not know all of the circumstances they were facing during that time!  You people are brainwashed by NBC news!  Palin deserves to be treated equally as the men that is all I’m saying.  You should be ashamed for treating her this way, especially you women!!

Bill Clinton and even Reagan never showed such ignorance about the Constitution, government, foreign policy, or seem so intellectually inept on matters of this nation. I will support you in that that Bush 44 did….and look where that has gotten us.

It’s an issue because her unpreparedness is so obvious and scary.

Arnold all but said she’s not ready. All Republicans are stuttering and stammering in trying to defend the Palin selection. McCain has put them all in a most unfavorable position.

Dear ABC,

Have you even checked into what her experience is and compared it to the other candidates?  I have more education and experience working in government than her…and I am only 30 years old!
By the way, I am a female as well.  Claiming her experience is being tainted by the public because she is a woman is ridiculous.  Really, just check out the facts and then concede that you are brainwashed by Fox News.

ABC….you can’t be serious….you can’t compare the demo team’s Harvard honors grad professor in constitutional law and undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware in 1965, then a law degree from Syracuse University in 1968…political prodigy, JB was only 29 when elected to the Senate in 1972. JB has been elected five times since: in 1978, 1984, 1990, 1996, and 2002. A member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee since 1975, Biden has carved out a reputation as a brainy and talkative expert in international relations…...

WITH these 2 repug nitwits..Palin took 7 years to complete a journalism degree which partly explains dimwitted mis-answers on just about anything…. mc pain is just plain too old and doddery…give it a couple and he’ll be ready for a nursing home in the dementia ward…

Why are people even asking if Palin is ready?  It should NOT be an issue!!  She has more executive experience than Obama!

Why is it OK that Bill Clinton and other men were qualified and they were governors?  Nobody questioned if they had enough experience.  But if a woman governor chooses to run for VICE president, it is an issue.

Please people. There is a double standard here!!
