Flashback: McCain Pledges to Run a ‘Respectful Campaign’

What a difference a few weeks and a few polling points can make. Last April John McCain pledged to run a “respectful campaign”—a goal he restated on more than one occasion until around midsummer. He also claimed he respected Barack Obama and would call him “Senator” during debates.

Meanwhile, Cindy McCain has also changed her tune since May 8, when she told “Today” anchor Ann Curry that, “You won’t see [negative stuff] come out of our side at all.” Hmm!

This clip was put together in August, but it merits a fresh look:

McCain must be on clenched teeth, in agony until his certain defeat, agony of how much further he’s going to be exposed and humiliated, it begins to smell of cover and panic, panic and cover--"I’ve got to smear him to delay the coming smear to myself, oh god when they find out the truth of what happened on the USS Foresstal--let it be over, let it be over.” This is the way his blank white face conveys to me.

I’ve just read a new handy reference book that debunks McCain the maverick as a chameleon and hypocrite. The Little Book of Truths about John McCain, it’s called. Some neat sections about McCain’s military record, temper, attitude about women, frendliness with big oil, etc. Fun read!

republicans=liars.

For all their B.S. straight talk about being Christian, all they do is lie and stir up the ignorant masses with those lies. Perhaps Sarah’s church, if it truly practices what it preaches, and from what we have seen of her and her family, it doesn’t, Sarah needs to be excommunicated. And John’s no choir boy either. Before you two threw that first stone, you should have remembered that your own pasts are not pure.

Their whole behaviour in the last week shows they are not qualified to lead this country. They have demonstrated that neither one has any dignity, intelligence, honesty, empathy, abilities to stay on track, no clues as to the real world, it’s people, no problem solving skills(they are the problem)concerning the matters that really count that real people are concerned about. These two spoiled brats need to go back to nursery school until they learn how to grow up and behave like educated adults and not the ignorant, rednecky lowlife scum they have displayed for all the world to see.

Respectful, you two don’t know the meaning of the word and yes, John needs to learn the truth, even though he didn’t think he needed to as he stated on the campaign trail. Shows how out of touch with reality this man is.

I believe I’ll have another 6-pack, and I don’t even drink.

Maybe if everyone contacted their news channels and demanded that they report the truth instead of McCain’s smears like this one: “ McCain: Obama link to ex-radical is honesty issue”, we could get them to do their jobs. Most of they (not Fox) are so afraid of appearing biased that they overcompensate in the other direction like Gwen Ifill did for Palin in the debate.  I contacted CNN and the AP tonight.

Wake up and smell the coffee America !

John McCain’s behaviour is that of a man who is not worthy to hold the office of President, and the more one learns about him, the more he appears to be beneath contempt.
