McCain Categorically Rejects Criticism of Palin

During an interview with The Des Moines Register, a miffed John McCain reiterates his fundamental disagreement with and categorical rejection of the idea that Sarah Palin is somehow unqualified to be a heartbeat away from the presidency. Maybe he just hasn’t seen this, this, this or this.

Now, look how McCain defends his choice: she was in the PTA, a mayor, a governor. LOOK CLOSER.
She was a first-time mayor, who hired a city manager .  She left Wasilla with a debt for a hockey facility, while taking federal money for roads and sewer system.
She is a governor who used school girl tactics on a shock-jock radio show to have things said about another Alaska legislator,  Lyda Green,  who wasn’t doing things Palin’s way.  Palin approvingly listened to this radio show host lambast her “enemy.” Thanking him at the end.  url: http://www.adn.com/opinion/story/295464.html
Also, in her legacy of Governor of Alaska is her apparent abuse of power in Trooper Gate which is being happily swept under the rug.  Won’t history repeat itself if she gets in the White House?
How will she govern the US from Wasilla?  She charged Alaskan taxpayers $16,941 to spend 312 nights of her first 19 months as governor at her own house in Wasilla.
She bought votes:  taking money from oil companies and putting it in the pockets of Alaskans.  Yeah, that buys a lot of forgiveness and support.

She calls herself a Federalist.  I am trying to make sense of this.  Isn’t she more of an Anti-Federalist?

Is she a conduit for her Church to hasten Rapture?  How different is the outcome of that doctrine from Muslims wanting to meet Allah and the celestial Virgins by killing infidels?

I now believe that the Republicans could market poison, and the Gullibles would respond to:  “OPEN WIDE while we spoon feed you” without blinking.

How can you tell John McCain is lying?  You can see his lips move!  Look out, Sarah!  John’s endorsement probably means that he’s dumping you right after that debate.  You will just be another Hail Mary pass.

I like how he listed being a member of the PTA as experience for the office.  Coming at it a bit high me thinks.  He also compares her to Reagan and Clinton in terms of experience.  She has been governor for less than 2 years, while Reagan was governor for seven years, and Clinton was governor for 13.  Not even to mention those states dwarf Alaska in terms of population.  If either of those candidates had performed on the national stage like she has, we wouldn’t even know their names.

Thank you McCain and your GOP enterage for further dumbing down the image of Americans in the world theater and for lowering the bar for qualified women in this country.
