Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson’s proposed bailout carries a price tag of $700 billion, a staggering figure that CNN has helpfully translated into terms that every American can understand by consulting the McDonald’s (apple) pie chart.

Not much I read on the internet can make me laugh at the moment but southparker’s image of poor old George being down to one brain cell made me laugh out loud. It’s just so damn true but that’s really pretty grim when you think about it!

Being 71 years old and a lady and all, I was shocked and offended by southparker’s last sentence.  Then I realized—oh, yeah, we ARE fucked, aren’t we?

Want to test your willpower? Try to order just one McDonalds apple/cherry pie, for 99 cents, and then see if you can turn down that second pie for a penny more.

They get me…every…time.

What will Stewart, Colbert, Maher, Letterman, Leno, do when Bush leaves office? They must all be secretly hoping McCain and Palin win. That will give them four more years of jokes. if Obama wins, we will be subject to the mundane art of governance once again. It won’t be as much fun covering an administration that may actually want to govern instead of just play acting at it. The rest of the world must be wondering how we elected George W. Bush twice, or maybe we didn’t.

What the hell is wrong with people?  One listen to this doofus we call president should alert all to the reality of what kind of government we’re living under.  Is it any wonder?  We’ve got keystone cops in government.  This is worse than a nightmare.  It is just inconceivable this guy was ever elected to any public office.  He has a master’s in business?  He’s down to one brain cell and it isn’t functioning very well.  We are fucked.
