Tina Fey returns to “Saturday Night Live” to play the Alaska governor side by side with Amy Poehler’s Hillary Clinton, who offers to lend the media a pair. That was great! Tina Fey looked and talked so much like her but the other lady didn’t resemble Hillary all that much.

According to Sarah Palin on the news tonight she thought the skit was funny. She claims that she even dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween. Funny, but I just cannot believe that Sarah would even allow Halloween at her place of employment or homestead, as it being the Devil’s celebration and all that other made up stuff tacked onto the day. Well, it is to the misinformed religious whack jobs, who fail to acknowledge that Halloween or Samhain, as it is also called, is a night the dead remembered, much like Remembrance Day in Canada and Memorial Day in the States. It is also the start of the Celtic New Year. Yet, all we ever hear from these church people is it is of the Devil. So if we look at their logic and the start of the Celtic New Year is Satanic, then wouldn’t it also follow logically that the Chinese New Year, and the one celebrated on Dec.31-Jan 1, also be of the devil.
Sarah doing Halloween, in a pig’s eye, with extra long eyelashes on it.

Wolf Blitzer described Tina Fey’s performance as “Genius”. Really? It takes a genius to have Tina Fey impersonate Sarah Palin on SNL? I enjoyed the skit but has the bar for “genius’ really been lowered that far? I think a far more appropriate word would have been “obvious”.

I think SNL is trying to get McPalin elected just so they can lampoon her and get their ratings up. Except for the opening sketch and the news, SNL generally sucks a big one. It wouldn’t even be funny if I were stoned.

Tina Fey has a better hair stylist than the real Sarah Palin.
Remember when SNL did “The Ronny Horror Picture Show” parody of Ronald Reagan? It didn’t deter the voters from giving him a 2nd term either.

Tina Fey was brilliant as Palin, but Amy P sort of ruined the bit with her dreadful Hillary Clinton impersonation. If the sketch had been Fey as Palin alone, it would’ve been ten times more effective.

Swell imitation, but SNL sketches didn’t sway the ignorant masses when showing the obvious incompetence of our “Great Leader” when he was running against Al Gore in 2000. So I’m not expecting SNL to save us from ourselves in 2008 either.

Priceless! I’ve seen it 3 times in an hour on CNN (part about Russia’s proximity to Alaska) and fervently hope they continue to show it all day.
