Cruelity to wolves and other animals by shooting from them from airplanes is supported by Palin. That’s a triple whammy - animal cruelty, a wasteful use of fuel and adds to global warming.

My Concern is that Plain is already good enough at playing the double-talk and talking points game to fool many people, and she’s likely to get better still.
Then what?
Basically she becomes another Bush. Folksy and charming enough to appear she has actual thoughts on key issues, but basically her comprehension is actually as thin as a skin of a balloon. Like Bush, all it takes is someone like Cheney to supply the hot air, and they go, making disastrous decision after disastrous decision.

Another technique: when trying to defend yourself, if you can work in a sports metaphor, all the better. So she “called an audible” on The Bridge to Nowhere—implicity conceding (I think) what she was unable to say aloud: she was for the bridge before she was against it. Frankly, I am still confused.
I do have to fault Charles Gibson here. He should have asked her directly whether she had once supported the bridge, instead of asserting same and asking her to admit it. His way allowed her to make it seem as though there was just a difference of opinion between them, a different interpretation of what happened.

Palin is an unqualified lunatic. McCain’s advisors probably write detailed reports on each topic for Palin to memorize and then recite when interviewed.
Look at her face while she speaks to Charlie Gibson. Her expression is blank (with the occasional awkward smile) like the back of thumbtack.
McCain chose her because she’s weak. What advice will she really offer to the president? I mean really. Biden will challenge Obama, while McCain would say, “Sarah who?”
And then he’ll laugh and do what he wants.

Palin has that conservative trait of initiating a counter attack, to try and change the subject when she is being pinned down on an issue.
In the exchange with Gibson about Bush’s premptive strike doctrine, she used that to try and change the subject, when she clearly did not know what she was talking about.
Unlike Obama, and many other liberals who try to explain and clarify, she just attacks.
This is another tried and true conservative technique, used to good effect by Limbaugh and the other propagandists of the right.
