If more “troublesome graphic details” were shown on FOX et.al. perhaps this Iraq/Afganistan war would be a lot shorter. Bring it on. I am sick of the panderization, the soft focus on the human consequences. Let all Americans see what is happening in their 9/11 name and...weep.

Every weeknight from 10-11, Amy Goodman and her guests are on cable TV in Oceanside, California, where many Marines live (just outside the huge Camp Pendleton base), trashing the war.  (There are many cable and satellite subscribers in Oceanside because the nearby hills make for poor over-the-air reception.) I wonder if the program has had any effect on Marines’ feelings about the war.

do you recall the “trip” that Laura Bush “supposedly” made to Afghanistan 2 or 3 weeks & how “wonderful” the “supposedly” abused women were now that the USA had made it “safe” for them? and suddenly they have to shift troops from Iraq to Afghanistan & hundreds or more of USA soldiers have been killed there? and the supposed 7 folks killed during bombing of Pakistan per USA when in reality per picture seen here in Truthdig many more were killed & it was confirmed by a video taken by a doctor & sent out? all the while the man from Pakistan who wrote Descent into Chaos was telling us (on democracynow.org) that we were being giving false information & painted “false” pictures; that the “al queida” (sp) were small, & have few if any guns; & that the USA had WATCHED as the Talaban had harvested their opium crop & grown & bought many weapons; seems like they WANT to kill soldiers from USA to me; what do YOU think? and this CRAP of it “being God’s will” to oppress people, thru lies, deceit & deception & force them into slavery of Corps is HORSE PUCKEY folks!

fewer folks are watching the news cuz we know it is all false; & why watch “staged” false pictures & reporting? http://www.democracynow.org website is free media which I am assuming is not going to be around to much longer; you can sign up to get emails sent to you; I believe the website was http://www.freepress.com that enables you to send emails re free press not being allowed which is illegal cuz it is what was used in Hitler’s day; knowing the POWER of PRINT & IMAGE the Corp’s working with Gov for world dominion KNOW that the “pictures” of the concentration camps were what brought the USA into the war; so they are VERY careful to “show” you ONLY what they want you to see & hear;

None of this is new for those few who care to know the facts.  Unfortunately only a few really care to know, shame on the American people.

Would you mind giving us a warning about the graphic details?  I don’t know which people are sicker - the American soldiers for perpetrating these horrors or the people who want to watch them on film.

The real shame of this is that all of this info has been availiable for a while now in the “left wing” media. The corp media is complacant or complicit in not reporting it.
This lack of reporting is just a symptom of a larger problem. Information control!
We on the left have known this for years, yet the rest of the sheeple are gleefully fleeced as they stare vacantly at the chattering cyclops.(sideshow bob)
The true shame is that, if you believe the ratings numbers, fewer and fewer people even watch the news any more. It’s a true harbinger of an “idiot” society. We are so caught up in getting ourselves out of debt, and playing the game, that we just don’t care what’s going on. It all seems too big! Even in the info/internet age nobody bothers to look for the truth, despite the fact that it is out there.

Went to the guardian’s web site and was able to view it there. Very depressing and distressing. There is absolutely no reason to be in Iraq to help a very few make a ‘killing’ in the war market. And there are some very high up americans that should have been put in jail at the least, already.
The war on terror is jingo for a perpetual corporatist opportunity for profits at the expense of innocent lives, ours and theirs(iraqis).

Why is this not available? I click on ‘here’ and the screen comes up and the video quickly goes away.

Most American voters simply will never see it.

That is why McCain is currently “neck-to-neck” instead of 20 points behind.
