So Sarah, tell me.  If the soldiers in Iraq are “on a mission from God” and George Bush was the one who gave the order to invade, does that make George Bush God’s messenger?  You know, like Moses?

Do you think it’s God’s mission because you believe that the war in Iraq was necessary to bring us the Armageddon your pastor talked about at the end of the sermon when he said people would be coming to your church from the lower 48?  Is that the plan you have for America?  For the world?

McCain’s pick of this political novice and religious nut poses a grave danger to all of us and the world.  Her religion is her business; however, when she introduces her religion into the political arena, then it is the business of all of us.  Her religion is what we called “Holy Rollers” where I grew up in rural KY, and the Bible speaks of those who speak in tongues as “babies in Christ” and as babbling fools! She is laughable.  What a bleak message the USA would present to the world if she and McCain are elected!

Why should I worry about the war, or paying my taxes, the rapture is on the way! Oh save me gov Sarah! for I will surley be left behind.

I understand Rabbi Lerner’s meaning in the context in which he said it.  However, I would like to add that it isn’t ONLY Jews who do not convert that will die.  They’re are going to “love us ALL to death”, that is ....ANYONE who doesn’t convert.

But placing a “dispensationalist” like Palin in the VP position is a critical issue.  The last thing we need is an extremist in the White House.  They are a very active element in the Israel Lobby:

But, in fact, for a very large number of Jews today, both in Israel and in the United States, recognize that the policies that Israel has been following has actually been destructive for the long-range survival of Israel. And so they are an element, the Christian Zionists are really an important element in the Israel lobby today, pushing the United States towards support of the most conservative and unloving policies.

Wow! What a ticket - an Armageddon advocate and a senior Senator who sings, “Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran” to old Beach Boy tunes at public assemblies.  The Republican Party sure knows how to make the children of this Nation look forward to the future.

Bush/Cheney used religion for political purposes; Palin intends to use politics for religious pruposes.  Big difference there.
