Cindy McCain ‘Couldn’t Be Happier’ With Choice of PalinPosted on Sep 4, 2008
John McCain’s wife, Cindy, sat down with CBS News anchor Katie Couric for an interview that aired Wednesday night, pledging to Couric that the VP vetting process was indeed thorough and sounding her enthusiasm for Sarah Palin. She said she agrees with the Alaska governor about the need to teach intelligent design in the schools but disagrees that abortion should be prohibited even in cases of incest or rape. More on Sarah Palin
Many Republicans, and others, have praised the decision by Governor Palin to carry her baby to term despite knowledge of its Down’s Syndrome. And they have praised her pregnant unmarried 17 year-old daughter on her decision to have her baby.
Should not they also realize that, if Sarah Palin has her way, such decisions could not be made? The government will have already decided for the woman.
No wonder that one of my daughters has referred to Ms Palin as a “folksy feminine fascist”.
Sarah Palin for VP
I wish that she were a liberal Democrat, so that I could root for her and vote for her. She is likeable. charming, and attractive enough to be referred to by some as McCain’s “trophy vice”.
But her political and social views are intolerable. In addition to her opposition to a woman’s right to choose, she denies that humans cause the global warming that threatens Alaska’s polar bears, supports the teaching in schools of creationism and abstinence-only sex education. And she wants oil drilling in the Anwr National Wildlife Refuge.
Early in Palin’s mayoralty, she wanted to impose book banning on the town library and tried to fire the librarian who resisted. Now, that’s scary.
McCain Picks Palin as VP Nominee
McCain did manage to step on the buzz from Obama’s stirring closing ceremony speech. Palin-Biden seems a clear mismatch but perhaps not since she is such a charmer
Since Palin was a feisty and successful point guard, maybe she and Obama should go one-on-one.

If anyone noticed that John McCain’s acceptance speech seemed lackluster, its because he knows that the Republican party has completely surrendered to the intolerant religious extremists that he himself, at one time, denounced.
Report thisImagine the humiliation of this. Those same Christian bigots who set out to destroy Senator McCain’s character, during the 2000 primary in South Carolina, and succeeded by having W become their candidate. And now, in 2008, lacking the monetary muscle of the Bush crime family, McCain has had to literally grovel before the James Dobson- Rush Limbaughs of the world, and do what they tell him to do. This is the real meaning of Governor Palin’s candidacy. The moose hunting, NRA member is the way for the ultra right wing to finally get all that they want. It is not beyond speculation that if elected, Senator McCain could suddenly die from “natural causes”. It is foolish to underestimate what religious zealots are capable of. Governor Palin has said that the war in Iraq is part of God’s mission.
So if it appeared that John McCain was phoning in his speech, he probably was. This is a Mephostophilian moment for the Arizona Senator, one that he will probably live to regret. I wonder if he takes comfort in the knowledge that Rush Limbaugh said, of his VP choice of Governor Palin that it was “a f——-g home run”.
Don’t you just love these baseball analogies?

Okay, apparently one of our candidates also believes that because Alaska is next to Russia this gives Palin the “heads up” on foreign affairs. According to this article JOHN MCCAIN has also “made this connection”:
“_McCain: “Alaska is right next to Russia.” “Well, the people of Alaska have vetted her.” “She’s commander of the Alaskan National Guard.” “Of course, it helps to be mayor.”
....she’s commander of the “Alaskan National Guard” !...OMG….LOL… (Head on, apply directly to the forehead, Head on, apply directly to the forehead, Head on, apply directly to the forhead.)

Where do they get these people. This is like Homer Simpson running for president and Wonder Woman as his running mate.

Oh boy…thankfully we have Cindy McCain’s wisdom to guide us through this very mesmerizing political season. You know with all the foreign policy talk, thankfully we have Cindy McCain to enlighten us.
Cindy McCain: “remember Alaska is the closest part of our continent to Russia”.....lol
Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7viMPdjZQZk&feature=related
But that’s not all, she’s bizarre…she does the weirdest shit, not to worry it was “just an honest mistake”, check this out:

So Cindy thinks we should teach intelligent design in the schools and Roe V. Wade should be overturned. Although, if you noticed…for a minute there on that “should Roe V Wade be overturned” issue ...she forgot WHAT SHE THOUGHT…then it was, oh yeah, oh yeah…sure that’s what I mean….yeah, it a state’s issue.
I tell you what, no wonder republicans claim to believe in God. It’s the only possible avenue they have to add the word “INTELLIGENCE” into the equation.
