 Fox Pundit: Alaska ‘Right Next Door to Russia’Posted on Aug 30, 2008
“Fox & Friends” co-host and international relations genius Steve Doocy filled some time before John McCain’s official VP unveiling extravaganza on Friday by suggesting that McCain’s chosen She-publican, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, is actually a formidable player on the world stage because of Alaska’s proximity to Russia.

Fox news is a crime against humanity. Its owner is a sick old dog that actually hates the middle class, the U.S., and its determination to provide freedom and justice for all. He supports dictators and dictatorship causes because he is one of them. His war against the U.S slides under the radar because his weapons of mass destruction are televised news dramas that promote lies, hatred, ignorance, greed and political corruption.

To give credence to anything that the Fox news network says, is by far the most inane thing that any thinking person can do.
Report thisI firmly believe that G-d put the Fox news network on this planet for one simple reason, We needed the comedy relief that it provides for operations like the Corporate News Network and all the other MSM networks.
Should someone that is halfway intelligent work at this snake pit of comedy, they must throw away their morals and values, so that the deceptive and misleading faux news spewing forth from that abomination of a network, can actually reach the audience that watches it.
For my money there are now MSM networks that can be trusted and I only listen and subscribe to the websites that are not run by the MSM.
Surely there is someone out there that can put an end to the farce that is the Fox news network?

Apparently you all are unaware that those Russian strategic bombers that like to fly close to Alaska’s coast are usually turned away by the Palins and their family floatplane. Usually Mr Palin does the flying while Governor Palin hangs out the side door with a hunting rifle. The Palins even have a picture of Sarah giving the finger to a Russian pilot while their floatplane was in an inverted 4G dive with a MIG-28.

Some years back, I used to tip a few with Steve Doocy at a well-known drinking establishment in Dupont Circle. At the time, he was the local news “funny story” guy, who had as much political conviction as the chair he was sitting on. He was - and, I assume, remains - a pleasant, if intellectually empty, person. I understand he is a religious man, which is certainly fine, but (like Sarah Palin) that hardly qualifies him for any on-camera job in network news more than, as, the Brits call it, a “news reader.”
To pay serious attention to any opinion that this man has is a waste of time.

I have been trying to find an acceptable excuse for my Conservative friends so they won’t be totally embarrassed by their vote for the angry old white guy with the rich hottie wife. I finally found a legitimate one they can use to explain why they would do that in spite of the massive number of reasons why they should not.
And, no the reason is not the semi-sexy VP and candidate for third wife he just chose.
A president’s pension currently is $191,300 per year. Assuming the next president lives to age 80. Sen McCain would receive ZERO pension as he would reach 80 at the end of two terms as president. Sen Obama, in contrast, would be retired for 26 years after two terms and would receive $4,973,800 in pension.
Therefore it might make economic sense to elect McCain in November.
Of course, if McCain doesn’t “win” the Iraq war soon as he keeps promising and if it lasts another 8 years (that’s 96 in dog and Republican years), then the three trillion dollar additional war cost might offset that somewhat.
