Now that we`ve heard still more “news” taken out of the Gossip and Entertainment section, one wonders what will be served next by the neocon - controlled MSM.Instead of providing “real, informative news”,this country is being served the GOP-sponsered “McBush Road Show”,featuring such freaks as McCain,Lieberman and Graham, also known as Sleaze,Slime and Scum to the masses.I suppose,it`s easy to understand as to why these two camps have something in common, the more important fact remains whether the average citizen can see through this scam and will NOT elect these revolting hypocrites..they better do wake up in time.

“What’s most notable about John McCain’s confusion over the number of homes he owns isn’t merely that it demonstrates that, after running his campaign based on depicting Barack Obama as an out-of-touch elitist and himself as the all-American Everyman, McCain lives a life that is about as far removed from the Average American as one can get, and has done so for decades. What’s notable is how McCain was able to live that way. McCain himself isn’t actually rich. He just lives off the inherited wealth of his much younger former mistress and now-second-wife—for whom he dumped his older and disfigured first wife—and who then used her family’s money to fund McCain’s political career and keep him living in extreme luxury (after insisting that he sign a prenuptial agreement, which would make McCain the first U.S. President to have one).” greenwald

McCain is light years away from being like one of us compared to Obama. It is shameful that Republicans rely on and enforce ignorance to gain and remain in power.

Cran Berry, you’re saying Obama isn’t wealthy enough to offer anything to the American people? Are you saying education and understanding of policy is not what Americans want?
I would like a president who understands politics, policy and the suffering of Americans. We have had too many billionaires in the white house. Don’t you think you’re a little out of touch with America?

If you cant remember how many homes you own, chances are youre rich. If you have photos taken of you standing outside the door of your private aircraft with a cup of Starbucks in your hand, chances are youre rich and an elitist. If you have homes located on Coronado island, La Jolla, and Sedona, chances are youre rich. Ok, big deal so John McCains rich; well so is Barack Obama although he doesnt meet John McCains definition of rich, since McCain set the rich threshold at 5 million, and Barack only pulled down a little over 4 million last year. Obamas definition of rich is a little more realistic - those pulling down $ 250,000 a year. Even in the San Francisco Bay Area, that is good coin.
What is important is that for decades Republicans have gotten away with portraying Democrats at the party of elitists, and unrepresentative of the working class. They do by reinforcing the middle Americas bias against the east and west coasts of our country, Europe, especially France, certain sports like windsurfing, what we eat - arugula, lattes, and chardonay. These of course are major league stereotypes, but they are effective in dividing us as a nation, and the Republicans are experts at dividing us. Why do they do this? Easy - they need to do this in order to distract Americans from any discussion of real issues that may truly impact our lives, like whether we will have a job, or be able to retire, or own a home, whether our military will be forced to fight in unnecessary wars, and whether we will have health care and a decent standard of living, and whether our country is looking out for our children and grandchildren in the war against global warming. You have to admire a political party that is so expert at distracting America and getting them to vote against their own interests time and time again. We have Richard Nixon to thank for this of course. His “silent majority” theme hit a nerve with a public fed up with anti-war protestors and counter culture types who were rebelling against conformity and middle class values. The media blew it up to be an even bigger divide than it was, and suddenly the good guys (liberals) became the bad guys. Liberals were personally responsible for all of the acting out behavior of the greatest generations children. Benjamin Spock became a bad guy because he came out against the war, even though he wrote the biggest selling child raising book of all time. Turns out all of the anti-war activists were right. Lyndon Johnson and the Democratic hawks lied to America about our reasons for going to war, and when Nixon got elected he accelerated the war rather than decelerating it as he promised. He almost singlehandedly sabotaged the Paris peace talks through Kissenger, because he did not want peace while Johnson was still president. Just think about how many American lives were lost because of Nixon. He should have been impeached because of that and because of our undeclared war in Laos. Nixon truly divided this country, and Reagan and both Bush’s have carried this division on to the present. Reagan promised a new morning in America and gave us a service economy with lots of minimum wage jobs. Bush I promised no new taxes and gave us new taxes. Bush II promised to be a compassionate conservative but left out the compassionate part when he became president. And he also became fiscally irresponsible and irrational in general after 9/11. Republican’s beginning with Nixon have been frauds and have gotten away with conning enough of the country to win the big one. Maybe this year we can break this cycle of lies and start turning the tables on the Republican’s by using their own techniques against them - the game of how many houses does John McCain own is a good start.

This whole campaign has become nothing but a circus. What ever happened to educated intellectuals talking about the real issues? Did that end with the Lincond Douglas debates? Instead we have to listen to both candidates talking about Paris Hilton Britney Spears and how many houses they have like it really matters. What a joke.

This house business is a silly joke. It doesn’t matter how many houses the guy owns. In fact, the electorate admires wealth far more than it does education or reason. Obama has lost because he doesn’t have anything to offer - houses or otherwise.

What’s scary about McCain’s image malfunction is that people will defend him anyway. And the people who’ll defend him are the very people he’ll screw in office—whose financial problems he’ll ignore, whose health care concerns he’ll pooh-pooh, whose devalued incomes he’ll dismiss.
But by golly, they know he’ll keep the terrorists out of the country. They’re worried about foreign terrorists when they should be worried about our home grown terrorists—the ceo’s of Countrywide Mortgage, Enron, Exxon who’ll con you out of all of your money, then laugh at you when you threaten to sue because they know guys like McCain will defend their right to profits by any means necessary. Including spending $10 billion dollars a month in Iraq to protect the contractors.
When will people become less stupid?

This is the latest bad joke from the circus of American democracy!
Well, it doesn’t surprise me that a greedy capitalist and warmonger owns 4-7 mansions, plus one-million dollars garage and only an omni-scientist God knows what else! After all, this is what capitalism is all about: Worshiping the idol of money, wealth and power, and seeking high office to multiply that!
What really bothers me and makes me restless is that this irrelevant and senile soul does not even remember how many houses he owns to the point that he wants to refer the person who asked the question to his staff!
Well the serious question is this: If this old senile shadow-of-man cannot remember the count of his personal property ranging between 4-7, then how is he going to be able to count and account for the millions of disadvantaged Americans who cannot make ends meet?! In light of this, how he is going to count and account for the thousands of Americans he wants to send to his endless evil wars he’s planning to conduct against the invisible Al-Qaeda, Iran, Afghanistan and possible the Soviet Union.
Well, it’s easy for this coward war-monger to cheaply talk about the non-existent Osama Bin Laden he wants to follow to the gates of Hell, as long as he will be sending the poor and disadvantaged Americans to be burnt in the Fires of his Hell quest?!
Sad! Sad! Sad!

Does a guy who made more than $4 million last year, just got back from vacation on a private beach in Hawaii and bought his own million-dollar mansion with the help of a convicted felon really want to get into a debate about houses? Does a guy who worries about the
Report thisprice of arugula and thinks regular people “cling” to guns and religion in the face of economic hardship really want to have a debate about who’s in touch with regular Americans?

MULTI HOUSING FAMILY
Though the wealth is both his and his spouse’s,
And he fancies he’s close to the throne,
Politicians who live in glass houses
Should be briefed on how many they own.
