McCain Not in Church’s ‘Cone of Silence’ During Obama Q&A

A mini-kerfuffle has erupted over the fact that John McCain did not wait his turn in the Saddleback Church’s “cone of silence,” the soundproofed space backstage at the California church where he was to have waited while Barack Obama answered the Rev. Rick Warren’s questions during Saturday’s Q&A session. According to Warren, McCain was in a Secret Service motorcade, not at the church, during most of his rival’s turn on the hot seat.

WHAT country is GOOD folks: that brings Nazi’s over after ww11 & sets them up handsomely to study them & learn 1 thing: HOW they did it; how 1/2 of Germany had no idea what was going on; THIS is what is being done today folks in the media; set up by Clinton; consolidation of media; deliberate set up “staged” scenes; deliberate lying, deception, misleading, etc; the disparaging Gov of the US legal citizens & how THEY are the scourge of the earth blah blah blah; no one else will do the work; reality is: The GOV in the 1960’s stated that all ag work was to be done by ag workers; who were migrant workers from Mexico; MANY of us who were in school & helping our families at that time were denied the right to work in orchards (read Grapes of Wrath by Steinbeck); then we were TAXED $1.67 which was HIGHER than my 1st job which was $1.55 an hour; 5 cents MORE than minimum wage; then ANOTHER tax was added almost $5 for same thing: except they said for their housing, schooling, etc; from grandpa’s day down to current, ALWAYS there was extra taxes put on for aid for other countries; yet: Gov claims” the American’s have NEVER done anything for anyone but themselves; they LIE & believe you me, do NOT rely on them or the FDA for ANYTHING to help you; it is there to HARM YOU.

So, Hagee is either in the Gov’s payroll or something haven’t figured that one out yet; when he said the killing of the Jews was God’s will; it was not & any one reading the Word would know so. While it is true one of the 10 commandments was thou shalt not kill you really need to read the Word. It also states emphatically in there that for everything there is a season; there is a time to kill; Ecclesiastics; there is a time to make your weapons into plows, and a time to change those plows into weapons again. God did NOT tell Bush to go into Iraq; God CANNOT bless America because of it’s leaders, the oppression & the way this country is run by criminals folks; So STOP asking Him to do so! Wake up; and KNOW what time it is!

1st of all, God was going to allow the USA to be destroyed because of the oppression of the people in 1949 & 1950; He said He had watched the people born, saw their dreams, knew what they could have done, and watched them die, unfulfilled; REMEMBER they fired on WHITE folks at Kent University because some folks dared object to the “official” doctrine of the day; so it was NOT just blacks; He said He had NOT LED His people here for this; (God does nothing without telling His people); God’s people fasted & prayed, interceded & humbled themselves; reluctantly He agreed to allow it to continue as it was. He said “it will get bad”;The people involved in interceding because they thought it would be best for their children & their grandchildren. They all repented before God & before His people.

Who does this unamerican creep think he is violating the Constitution of the United States by pretending to vet candidates for the presidency of the US? By whose authority? God’s?

Shame on Obamma for falling for this nonsense. There is NO God vote - he is not a citizen and the nutters who think he is should be banned - and to hurt them where it really matters - reduce their salaries and close their entertainment centers!

Forget about MCCain - he will prostitute himself for a vote before anyone! Where he is in a cone or not or even if he is eating one it doesn’t make much difference.

I’m constantly amazed at the hostility of so many toward intellectualism and thoughtfulness.  People want easy answers…or answers that have been resolved in their minds.  McCain’s answer: At conception, to the question “when does life begin—” reminded me of the kid who’s been tutored day after day for the big test. Good boy!

Of course, McCain and Republicans know this for sure, and they are willing to legislate based on this knowledge.  What kind of laws would they create to ensure that embryos are preserved?  A special enforcement team to detect embryo destruction. (But we can’t keep undocumented people out of the country.)

I’m not surprised McCain is doing well—the great white hope that he is.  I remember working for Harold Washington, who became the first and only black mayor of chicago.  Despite the rays emitted from his brilliant brain, his candidacy, which would have been a sure thing for any Democrat (there’s never been a Republican who’s entertained running for mayor of Chicago), was a tough sell.  The Republicans saw their opportunity and Bernard Epton, a sad manic-depressive, nevertheless almost won.

Republicans are right in a sense.  People don’t vote logically.  They vote their fears, their likes, dislikes, whatever they imagine.  So McCain can get away with the easy answers; he will be cheered and admired for his time-tested understanding of the world.  By golly.

Face it, it doesn’t matter how McCain did or what he knew prior to know that Obama sucked.  Yes, he looked even worse when compared to McCain, but he did a fine job of looking like an idiot all by himself.

•  “Do we really want to know how a candidate would perform if put into a real “cone of silence” and given a Mensa test?  Or a multiple choice exam on the Constitution?  Or a psychological assessment?  Or a drug screen?  And would failure at any of these even change their supporters’ minds?  Probably not.”

This is an interesting diatribe here metros, where you actually put the blame where it belongs, (without realizing it) instead of on these candidates that you are putting down. (part of the ‘crash the whole system group, eh?)

In this example, (I guess you didn’t know this) you could most certainly put Barack Obama through this barrage of exams, and he would surely pass them all with the highest of scores. (He is a professor of Constitutional Law, or were you not aware of that?) He quit smoking about 6 or 8 months ago, so the most ‘drug’ you’re likely to find in his system would be from the nicotine lozenges that I hear he still uses as an ex-smoker. Mensa test? He did Columbia and Harvard Magna Cum Laude. Oh yeah. Not a problem. Psychological assessment? Have you bothered to check out ANYTHING about him?

McCain on the other hand,…next to last in his graduating class from military academy. (but his dad has been a big shot military guy). He’s known for his temper tantrums, and he says and does incredibly stupid things in public. (Like calling his wife a cunt, and suggesting that she should join the Cow Chip (or something like that) Beauty Pageant in what Jon Stewart refers to as the meth Olympics. (well, she was a dope head at one point – hers was a different substance though). Could John McCain pass a multiple choice exam on the Constitution? Or a mensa test? Hell he doesn’t even know the difference between a Sunni and a Shiite Muslim in Iraq. In fact, John McCain is basically brain dead, and would fail every test, considering the treasure chest of prescription drugs that he takes. (ambian was high on the list).

DESPITE all of that, do you think it would make any difference to at least a third of the US population, (if not more)? Probably not. They’ll still vote for McCain, and people like you will still throw your votes away on someone else, thereby putting McCain in there by default. I mean come on, this is the same group who voted for Dick Bush twice.

Nope, don’t blame it all on the candidates, blame it on the stupidity of your fellow citizens, and be sure to look in the mirror while you’re at it.

When George W. Bush was asked, during a 2000 election debate, who was his favorite philosopher, the Texas Governor-executioner quickly said: “Jesus. Because he changed my heart.”
The rest, as the tired old saying goes, is history.

Obama was definitely set up.Rick Warren knew exactly what he was doing. When Clinton first ran for President I lived in Lake Forest and called Rick Warren and warned him about a propaganda movie he was going to show that was being promoted by a speaker on our school board who who was trying to get rid of science books and sex education in our schools and was antichoice.The movie started out with Natzi signs and Hillary and Bill Clinton and lied about a gifted summer school program in Arkansas that said it was an occult school.You can call the Dept of Education of Arkansas to check about the truth.Anyway Rick Warren said he was going to show it anyway so I called all the newspapers and told them to bring their tape recorders.We eventually took pages of faxes from the Dept of Arkansas to the school board and got rid of her and another guy. The point is she was going around to all the churches and Rick warren knew ahead of time what the movie was about. I believe McCain knew the questions way ahead of time and he knew that Rick would laugh at all his jokes and ask questions like,“Do you believe in Jesus even though he knew that in the Bill of Rights it states that there should not be a religious test for office. I knew that Obama was going to be blindsided. It was definately not a debate.Saddleback Church will probably hand out fliers telling people how to vote and will become a campaign headquarters for McCain. Bill Mayer on Larry King Live on Monday night also talked about Rick Warren which was quite funny.

McCain : “To scrape the barnacles off her hull!” ” Of course that’s right ! We are all in need of barnacles scraped off our hulls ! Today, we are all Marie Antoinette !”

What a real intellignet response from Cyrena?

Why is it so hard for the fickle Obama supporters to accept the fact that John McCain blew him away Saturday night?

McCain,
spoke from the heart, with convicion, with EXPERIENCE and he was truly believable.

Obama did what Obama does(without teleprompter help), babble.

This is precisely why Obama refused McCain’s townhall style meetings. (Back in May he boasted arrogantly to McCain, “anytime, anyplace”.
He likes playing it cautious. He knows he can’t afford to lose anymore voters.  He’s not closing the deal anymore now than when he was in the primaries with Hillary.

Look at the polls!

Don’t worry, the convention is upcoming. Obama’s coronation will surely liven things up a little.
He’ll get some bounce, but, will it last?

John McCain not being in the “Saddleback Church’s cone of silence” and not disavowing that he did not know of the questions asked of him beforehand by Rev. Rick Warren, is obviously a cover-up that media investigators need to pursue. To the title of McSame, add deceit which is his character flaw.

Evil in the US elections
By Marwan Bishara, Al Jazeera’s Senior Political Analyst, in New York

I could only shake my head in bewilderment, as I listened to the interviews Rick Warren, a Baptist pastor, conducted with Barack Obama and John McCain, the US presidential candidates for the Democratic and Republican parties, respectively.

Most absurd during the two-hour special were the exchanges about “evil”.

The last time I checked, there was no legal or strategic interpretation of evil.

The threat of evil necessitates some sort of definition, otherwise, how can any president evaluate evil and apply the necessary measures to “confront it” or “defeat it”?

Such theological/political journalism is unthinkable anywhere in Europe or in so-called democracies around the world. Calling one’s enemy or their ideology or religion evil is the language normally used by such groups as al-Qaeda, not constitutional democracies.

For most outsiders, the US is in denial over its own “evil doing” around the world.

Hear the quesions? He was GIVEN the questions in plenty of time to for his staff to prepare the answers and perfect his performance. Hell, his people probably WROTE the questions.

This is such a red herring - the idea that he maybe heard the questions in the limo completely ignores the fact that never in this campaign has he been so rehearsed, so comfortable, so completely prepared to answer questions that were supposedly unexpected. That sort of preparation takes time, a lot longer than a ride to the church.

Especially for McCain, who has a long and consistent record of bumbling and screwing up. Come on, people, you’re asking the wrong question - you need to be asking Rick Warren how come McCain was so INCREDIBLY well-prepared.

I don’t buy the conventional wisdom Andrea Mitchell has so neatly launched, that McCain and/or his people sneakily listened in on the way to the church. Come on. That wasn’t nearly enough time to prepare for McCain’s well-crafted performance. Nothing about last night was left to chance.

Mitchell is no friend of Obama. She is trying to divert attention from whatever really happened. And you can bet she knows. Mitchell is providing a noisy distraction from what actually happened: Warren set this up with the McCain campaign. Obama was mugged. What about this is surprising?

McCain had the questions long enough for his people to write the script and rehearse the performance. He’s never this glib unless he is speaking from a script - this business about hearing some of the questions in the limo doesn’t come near explaining his well-rehearsed answers to all those unexpected questions, and it certainly doesn’t explain the instances where he obviously knew what was coming next - or what was SUPPOSED to come next. What a hoot.

This is funny, on what Warren has to say about McCain in the alleged ‘green room’..

”..if he’d tried to turn it on, all he’d have gotten was fuzz, because it wasn’t even connected…”

~~~
How true and how funny! Nope, he (McCain) would have gotten fuzz whether he it tried to turn it on or not, since HE’S about as disconnected as anything could ever be, including a TV monitor. Hell, even it he HEARD part of the interview with Obama he wouldn’t have been able to remember it enough to adjust his own answers.
