Ron Suskind on Bush’s ‘Great Lies’

Email this item Email    Print this item Print    Share this item... Share

Posted on Aug 5, 2008

Ron Suskind’s new book alleges that the White House ordered the CIA to fabricate a link between Iraq and al-Qaida. The CIA director at the time, George Tenet, calls the claim “ridiculous.” Suskind says that’s just an example of “George’s memory issue.”

Speaking of ridiculous, the White House’s defense against the suggestion that the president commissioned a crime is to call Suskind’s work “gutter journalism.”

NBC reports on the denials:

I watched Countdown last night and saw th etwo main sources for Suskinds book basically retract their Former statements to him (which he reassured were taped- hopefully multiple copies and stored safely). I was not surprised by the Sudden reverse from these guys, but only made me question again What is this admin threatening these whistleblowers with. One was in Bagdad- a threat he may never see the US again, due to an ‘accident’. Are they threatening their families?
Since this admin has used very illegal tactic, why would I grant them the ‘benefit of the doubt’ when it comes to not only personality (professional)assasination- but outright assasination.
How did these men only hours before support the book, then quickly reject it.
It is obvious these Truth tellers knew they could be professionally ‘Black balled’ when they spoke these truths to Suskind & His recorder. so that could not be the reason they have suddenly had a change of heart- retracting such statement must have been motivated by a much bigger threat
Considering the tactics this admin has pulled form all previous vile leaders repetoire- why not pull one from the Mafia? Back to Basics Boys? I’m sure this ‘your signature or brains will be on this paper’ threat will lead right back to Cheney’s office- again!

This is the smoking gun and you guys should be all over this story! This entire administration, George Tenet included, should be tried before a War Crimes Tribunal and face a firing squad. Suskind has all his souces on tape and ‘on the record’ saying all this. As John Dean says, this is worse than Watergate! This is huge. And if the House Judiciary Committee, along with Pelosi and Reid don’t jump on it they don’t deserve to be in Congress.

So if Suskind says it, it must be true?

Now if he could only produce that infernal letter!

~~~~~~~
Yep..it must be true Marshall. Based on ALL THE OTHER *TRUE* stuff he’s produced.
Think of it this way, it’s Ron Suskind produces as many or more documented truths as Dick Bush produces undocumented lies.
If Dick Bush opens their mouth, you know the puppet and his master are lying. It couldn’t be any other way. You haven’t figured that out by now?
More evidence is dancing on the noses of the sheeple. The MSM is reporting it. The sheeple just may be swayed. Things are heating up. The play is getting more exciting… I wonder what the next act will bring.
“We know from many facts of history that the CIA is the most evil instrument of plotting in the service of whoever is the Commanders-in-Chief!
George Tenet is one of the criminal gang who is adding insult to injury by treating us as if we were all sheep, of which none will remember what they have done in Cuba and Iran!”
~~~~~

Truer words rarely spoken Fadel..

I would only add a few other nations to the list of “overthrows’ by the CIA, in complete service to whomever the Commanders-in-Chief happen to be at the time…Peru, Chile, Argentina, Columbia, and the multiple attempts to do the same to Venezuela by way of imprisonment and assassination attempts on Hugo Chavez.

It’s just part of this gang’s blood. Remember Papa Bush was the director of the CIA before he became president. I have no idea how George Tenet became co-opted to the position, but he’ll keep lying till the day he dies.

And of course, the standard response from these thugs, to anyone revealing the truth, is stuff like ‘gutter journalism’. And of course, we know better. It’s always a dead giveaway.

Now I still have to keep trying to find a way to get one of those nifty Kindle Readers, so I can read his book. I am totally mesmerized by a gadget that will allow me to wirelessly download over two hundred books, and carry such an extensive library around with me, stored in that one little gadget, no wires, cords or cables required. It’s enough to make me search for paid work. smile (at least for long enough to earn the $400.00 that they cost)

Suskinds latest here, is part of that collection that is available.

The information from this book would make such a compelling case for impeachment that NOT proceeding forward with it would be a grave disservice.  Barring that, then if the next administration(presumably Obama)wanted to make Bush & Co. accountable(which it would have to, else it’s just as spineless as Pelosi), a congressional investigation would be mandatory and/or submitting this to the International Court in The Hague(because of the clear cut criminal culpability).

Okay! Another supposedly new revelation that I knew intuitively a long time ago!

For George Tenet to deny that the CIA was ordered to manipulate the information is indeed another outrageous crime added to the record of this evil entity, as if he is telling us that the CIA is a totally independent governmental agency that does not take its orders from the Devil-in-Chief.

We know from many facts of history that the CIA is the most evil instrument of plotting in the service of whoever is the Commanders-in-Chief!

George Tenet is one of the criminal gang who is adding insult to injury by treating us as if we were all sheep, of which none will remember what they have done in Cuba and Iran!

The White House considered the information from the head of Iraqi Intelligence immaterial?  They were aware that “Curve Ball” was a drunken fraud. They were warned by the British, Italians, CIA, Germans, and French he was bogus.  However, they DID consider his information material.  There is something very wrong with this picture.
