Britney Spears

John McCain’s recent “celeb” ad attempted to draw a comparison between Barack Obama and a certain washed-up pop star, but as this video illustrates, the former maverick actually has a lot more in common with Britney “we should just trust our president in every decision that he makes” Spears.

“Shall I compare thee to a Summers Day?”

The dimwitted and failing logic of Mr. Mcain, and his political operatives, goes something like this.. Obama+Brittany=Victory, clearly an equation based on imaginary numbers, a fantasy. However by substituting a much more realisitic equation, we come up with the answer…..Bush+McCain=Defeat

All britney knows, well I can’t go there as she seems so devoid of knowing, oh, I got it, that dim light comes on and she realizes that the republicans are where the money is. Daddy got control of hers so she will try the ann coulter method and ‘suck’ up to these mighty warriors of cash.

Where all the Hillary supporters who were so outraged with the sexism played against her during the primary.  They blamed Obama camp for all the evils thrown at Hillary. There is not a peep out of them.  The McBush ad is ‘the good old boy’ symdrome in many ways.  They mocked women as shallow and bimbos.  Just think, the Hilton family supports JohnMcBushGOP.
Be on watch, the media esp cable 24/7 stirs up all this nonsense, get people upset, then wonder why the discourse is so ugly in USA.  Corporate media has the shock-jock mentality, there is no civil discussion except on PBS.  It’s sad.

Wow. I was just starting to feel sorry for Britney. But she actually said, “Honestly I think should just trust our president in every decision that he makes and we should just support that.”

And this is president Bush she’s talking about here.

Wow. I now officially hate Britney Spears.

May I suggest that TruthDig hold a contest for the best responses to McCain’s crazy ads?  The idea would be to give a platform to those who could adequately skewer the McCain campaign for the tripe they’ve successfully managed to get onto YouTube top watched charts.

... and hopefully have the submitted videos trump McCain’s in total views.

How about a political ad juxtapositioning McCain with celebrities who are more like McCain than Spears and Hilton are like Obama? For instance, show scowling McCain sandwiched by the famous police arrest photo of Nick Nolte and the video of drunken David Hasselhoff crawling on the floor.  In other words, famous angry violent white guys just like McCain.

Or, we could mirror the McCain ad for its racist aspects.  How about celebrity Reverends Jeramiah Wright and Jesse Jackson bookending McCain showing celebrities of a different color from the candidate who are equally shorted sighted and bigots?

Better yet, how about McCain embracing the biggest most unworthy celebrities of all, George Bush and Dick Cheney?

Britney’s intelligence is right in the solid average of the typical amoeba-minded republican meaning she’s over-qualified to be their vice presidential candidate.

The weirdness never ends with this story ... over the weekend, Paris Hilton’s mom criticized the McCain ad’s “frivolous” nature and decried its waste of contributor money.

Yes ... that’s right .... Paris’s mom is lecturing somebody about frivolity.

What a world.

These Spears clips were (first?) aired on the movie Fahrenheit9/11, to illustrate the compliancy of Americans to go along with anything GWB wanted.

Now they’re just a historical curio, as Britney hasn’t looked like this in 5+ yrs.

I understand this is entertaining parody.

My family holds several brain chemistry disorder sufferers. Some of my dearest friends struggle under these dark, publicly unfamiliar woes too. It seems the medical complex is mostly illiterate correctly diagnosing. Much misprescribing adds to everyone’s struggles.

Our governments and outpatient facilities endlessly battle over monies. Courts cost-shift care back onto the public or sadly, into prisons. Meaning the disordered, their family and friends pay the highest cost. Seems we could all do better. Starting at the top. Because at the bottom, we’ve done all we can. But that’s just my opinion, based on far too much experience.

Sorry Spears family. And sorry for all the other individuals and families that all wrestle with these woes. Sorry our government and health care system, for the most part, just don’t get it. At all.
