McCain campaign aide Charlie Black is in hot water after word spread that he’d suggested McCain’s chances for taking over the White House would improve if another terrorist attack happened on U.S. soil, as well as for characterizing Benazir Bhutto’s assassination as potentially beneficial for McCain’s presidential bid. I was at a Dr’s office today and in the waiting room a TV had on MSNBC which had Trent Lott’s smiling face as he shucked and jived around what was really said and really meant. When you have an old school southern white supremacist like Trent Lott defending Charlie Black then you have successfully traded sheets for a suit. If you doubt it google Strom Thurmond’s 100th birthday bash when Lott said some really stupid stuff that in fact he really meant. I guess the rethugs now have a round robin blackberry tree that puts all of them ‘on call’ for situations just like this one.

Really…the comparison to all of those other tyrant dictators was PERFECT!

That is exactly what we’ve had for nearly 8 years, and that’s what McSame is itching to continue.

He’s not gonna fire anybody, and least of all Charlie Black, whether he’s in hot water or not. None of the Rethugs care about that stuff.
