Fist Bumps All Around on ‘The View’Posted on Jun 18, 2008
Michelle Obama visited “The View” on Wednesday, and, following a round of fist bumps with the show’s starring lineup (as well as a few jokes about the “terrorist fist jab” of Fox News fame), Obama addressed some of the rumors and criticisms that have circulated about her recently and weighed in about whether Hillary Clinton should be her husband’s running mate. Michelle is so unpresumtious. A lady who radiates class and kindness. You won’t catch her pretending to be what she is not.
Report thisHope she makes Obama lose that lapel pin.
Republicans nee to stick those pins into their hemmoroids.

Michelle Obama will be a tremendous first lady of this country, contrary to the ugly smears coming from the right wing. She did a marvelous job on the show, and she will continue to show America what an intelligent and gracious woman she is. Barack is one lucky man to have a wife like Michelle. She is a class act!

I heard that today, Cindy McCain tried to use Michelle’s “first time really proud of my country” remark to question Michelle Obama’s patriotism. Isn’t that typical of the hypocrites in the American Fascist Party, who wear their patriotism on their lapels and are more than happy to send “your” sons and daughters to fight and die in Iraq so long as you don’t ask them to pony up and actually pay their taxes.

I ditto Ernest. I had no intention of watching the entire segment, (I never watch the View) but that’s what I did, and it was excellent, even though I generally knew most of this already about Michelle anyway.
She’s quite a wonderful example of MANY women of generation!

I am looking forward to First Lady Michelle Obama! She is refreshing, brilliant and will be a bright light of hope and decency for all of us. I especially appreciated Michelle giving due appreciation for Laura Bush, who has been a wonderful First Lady during extremely difficult times for her and for the world.
