Purple Girl; you are spot on about the Media talking heads. One thing that isn’t mentioned much is the fact that most if not all of the TV as well as print, media wonks are paid well in to six figures. That means that they are among the winners of the Bush tax breaks, and by not forcefully exposeing the criminality of this Administration are complicit in this illegal war in Iraq and the economic rape of the middle class of our country. I really don’t think they are apt to bite the hand that feeds them. Is there a Hero amongst them? I doubt it. Perhaps (MSNBC’S) Keith Olbermann comes closest.

Admiral Fallon victim of the neocon/likudniks affiliated with the Podhoretz clan promoting the nuking of Iran.
Hopefully the Admiral might be offered an advisory role by the incoming Obama administration. The Strategy for Securing a New Realm by Nethanyahu, Perle, Feith, Wurmser, Ledeen et al[ redesigning borders of Middle Eastern states to protect Israel] still has a few adherents in the Bush administration.
One has to wonder whether there is anyone in Bush’s ensemble that has a modicum of intelligence in the area of foreign policy, given the 4 trillion dollar cost of Wolfowitz’s cakewalk into iraq.

The media has accumulated enought Well Documented Evidence to Prosecute this Admin and It’s enablers- but are refusing to Put the Case together. Well thanks..TD, for hooking us up to that. I watched the whole thing, and really appreciated all of the interviews, especially the one with David Sirota.
Interesting about Adm Fallon as well. He’s always been really impressive, and I think we knew all along that he wasn’t willing to follow the long ago plan to whack Iran, without checking things out. Needless-to-say, anybody should have been even MORE cautious about it, considering the lies about Iraq.
So, while he might diplomatically say that it was a ‘chain-of-command’ issue, (so typical with authoritarian regimes) the bottom line is more like…we (Dick Bush) want you to whack Iran. If you won’t do it…out goes your ass.
After all, diplomacy has no place in a Dick Bush neo-con regime.
