The Democratic Race in 8 MinutesPosted on Jun 8, 2008
The Democrats have just completed an epic string of primaries that spanned more than a year of campaigning in all 50 states and various territories. It may have gotten old, but it was pretty exciting for a while. Guam came down to just seven votes, for crying out loud, and people actually talked about its impact on the race. Guam. In case you missed it, or you just want to relive the drama, here’s a no-nonsense summary of the Democratic campaign. Watch it: CommentsAre you a Truthdig member yet? Gmonst,
I think that’s ‘the plan’. Get everybody converted to short attention spans, so we won’t feel the pain as it’s happening. “They” figure it’s just better to keep everybody in the rabbit hole.
So, for those plagued with the old fashioned, “long term attention span” (also known as deep thinkers) there’s that host of anti-depressants…take your pick. They’ll make you forget all of this stuff.
Could this be why Alzheimer’s has become such an epidemic? Sure seems like a cruel way to punish one for having a longer attention span.
Sigh..

That was a pretty entertaining summary. Its funny to see how much of the big stuff six months ago is all but forgotten now. We really do have a short attention span.

Not for nothin’, but this video format isn’t entirely original…
A tip of the hat to BSG would be nice.

Whew! This makes it sound like a busy week, eh?
I can imagine students using this in place of Cliff notes 20 years from now, to turn out a last minute paper on the historical democratic election of 2008.
