McCain

If it comes down to oratorical skills, Barack Obama will win in a landslide. That’s the assessment of pundits across the political spectrum, who were collectively appalled by John McCain’s preemptive rhetorical strike. Fox News seemed particularly offended by McCain’s snoozy demeanor and small crowd.

It will become obvious as time goes on that Obama is the real deal and McCain has no message and is incapable of delivering a message. McCain right now is making Bush look like Ronald Reagan. McCain better hire a speech coach fast! And he needs to dump the sickly smile. He looks like death warmed over.

I, see the results of something that has worked for the last almost 8 years, deception and disseminating the lies of an administration that cares nothing about what the people think or believe.  Sen. John McCain, could not hold an audience’s attention even yelling fire in a crowded room.  I don’t believe that anyone would believe that there truly was a fire.
This is the person that the Republicrats, have nominated for the presidency?  Surely, there were others that met the requirements of the party and now they have to live with this abominable and atrocious choice of candidates.
What truly scares me, was the pasted on smile of John McCain, this is indicative of someone who cannot tell the truth, and is likely not to communicate anything of value to the people of this country. He makes so much effort to try to win people over, yet in the end he will not succeed.
But to make President Barack Hussein Obama, a reality we the people must be alert to vote-rigging, voter disenfranchisement, challenges to people voting who have the right to vote, and also the very notion that Sen. John McCain, can truly muster the votes in the popular vote and electoral college to win this election.

Hey, folks, as we learned in 2000, it doesn’t matter what the majority of Americans want in a president, it just matters who can steal the most votes, or suppress the most votes or throw away the most registrations or program the ES&S;machines (check the recent LA primary for proof they’re still flipping the votes) to their liking.

I’ll be very surprised if a Dem becomes President, because we’re too dumb, too trusting, too lazy, too ‘gentlemanly’.

I always thought the cure for stupidity is education. However, our future loss in property tax collection with be its poison. Thank you housing lenders!

I saw this live and was appalled. McCain appears to be already gone to his great republican reward. His pasty smile and over practiced grinchy grimace is truly the look the right wing is giving the country. All the talk about Hillary’s faux pas on assassination, and we see here the glaring evidence that the Republicans are already dead as door nails.

The GOP now realizes: “OK, so now we know this guy has zero eloquence, zero charisma, he favors wars that everyone hates, he aims to continue policies that everyone hates, and nobody even believes his ‘maverick’ pretense anymore. We have to put together a campaign for this person? What do we do?”:

“VOTE MCCAIN, BECAUSE, UM, HE’S WHITE, HE’S WHITE, HE’S WHITE, AND, UM, ... DID WE MENTION THAT HE’S WHITE?.....”

Ignorance can be cured—however, there is no cure for stupidity.
The difference between death and taxes is that Congress can’t make death worse.

What irks me about McCain’s attempts at giving a stirring speech are his 1) muffled nervous laugh often followed by 2) a pasted on smile while he waits for the crowd to see the cue to cheer, applaud, and fake an orgasm.
