With a soundtrack as shifty as its logic, here is another captivating self-parody from the Sam Graves campaign. The shameless Missouri congressman, who has tried to paint his Democratic opponent as an unholy champion of gayness because she held a fundraiser in San Francisco, has launched another attack ad allegedly based on that city’s values.

I love these bigoted ads.  Every time I see one, I send $25 to the targeted Dem. My Representative doesn’t need any money. So I’ll be going to Ms. Barnes’ website now. Toodeloo.

Attack the person, but never speak the truth or talk about the issues.  Nice family values.  Divisive and typical.  Old Washington again.

As a Missouri resident I find this as shameful as it is unsurprising. Just this past election cycle we had an election in our local district for the state senate in which the Republican ran an ad that brought to the public our candidates (democrat) son, who got in trouble for smoking pot in class…

The sent a mailer out that said “Jane bogetto…planting pot in our schools, and in our backyards…”

This is typical Republican style…go for the most obscure, illogical, yet fear inspiring button and slam it down hard…

Just for the record, Mr. Graves, if you check the 2006 election, this tactic didn’t work too nicely for then Senator Jim Talent…Just ask current Senator Claire McCaskill.

Did you notice that the announcer calls her “Gay Barnes” right after discussing the gay rights club!

They call her Gay Barnes. It is clear as day if you compare it to the pronouncing of the word Gay, compared to the other times she says Kay Barnes normally.

Someone at Truthdig please check it out…

I guess it’s hard to say everything in a 30-second ad, but that was a very, very confusing mess.
