This entire campaign is one long repetition of talk bad, do bad, apologize, repeat. All like nothing happened. Both Bubba and Hillbillary have played the race card, and now the kill the black guy card, over and over; when they get called on it, they’re ‘sorry’, or their lackey resigns having accomplished the mission. Same with McCain and Fascist News running that excerpt from motormouth Wright into our subconscious. Now FN makes a kill the black guy ‘joke’ and chalks it up as okay because it was ‘lame’? Give me a goddamn break. They took Don Imus off the air for a less inflammatory racist remark (and he should still be off the air). Where is the FCC? Oh, Bush/Cheney Reich controls them as well, apparently. This, people, is what Germany was like in 1933.

I have seen enough of comments made with supposed unintended intent this political period. I have formed my opinion, and to Ms. Trotta and all like you who think the non-elite are stupid people, keep your apology, you have no soul and continue to prove to me why I am proud to be blue collar. Really, education has to be pushed throughout this country to stop these conservative brown-shirt fascists. The whole reason conservatism seems to have any following is through its dehumanizing of opposition by selling self-righteousness to people who are the least economically well-off, educationally achieved and politically informed through the barrel of a gun. It’s fascism, not Americanism.

Trotta is scum. As bad as George Bush, John McCain, Dick Cheney and Karl Rove (Amongst others), the left, center and progressive camps have never called for assassination because we still value human rights and non-violent resolutions.

Saying, essentially, it would be great if both Osama bin Laden and Barack Obama were ‘offed’ if you ‘could’ is one of the most disgusting things to ever be uttered in a so-called journalistic organization. You’re trash, Trotta, and you should have lost your job for that gaffe. There is never an excuse to joke about the assassination of a presidential candidate in a forum where it’s supposed to represent integrity, professionalism and journalistic equality.

However, we see that there are double standards. Mike Huckabee is allowed to get off with a weak apology, and so is Trotta. Clinton gets the worst of it, and only from the Democratic camp. All three are wrong, and all three should be reprimanded accordingly.

No Ms. Trotta, your apology is not accepted. The damage has already been done, and if there is any sense of decency left in you, then you should voluntarily shut up your not-so-clean mouth for the rest of this political season at least!
