Larry the Loophole

Gee, it sure is hard sometimes to figure out exactly how the rich get richer in American society! Good thing there’s Larry the Loophole, who hails from a politician dad and a lobbyist mom, to show us how buyout industry executives like Henry Kravis make gajillions of dollars (well, not gajillions, but so far this year Kravis has made over $33,205,800, with ol’ Larry’s help. As funny as it is scary, this animated short from Brave New Films breaks it all down.

Steve Forbes was the first who proposed it, in the primary against Bush.

Ron Paul wants to eliminate the Federal income tax, the 16th amendendment wasn’t fully ratified as required by the constitution.

After watching this, taking up residence in the European Union is sounding better and better.

Mike Huckabee was the candidate favoring removal of the Federal income tax. His substitution would be a Federal sales tax. Strikes me as a bit regressive.

Ron Paul advocates a “flat tax” Sounds good, and fits on a bumper sticker, BUT I would suggest that for “flat tax” citizens get “flat service” In other words, some poor unemployed slob with a 30k debt would get the same respectful hearing in front of congress that Bill Gates got when he advocated for unlimited H-1b visas.

We have been taught that “All men (amended to all people) are created equal.” I suggest that under our system some are more equal than others. So I’m content to let them pay taxes at a higher rate to offset (in some very small measure) the “privilege” they enjoy.

As any devoted crapitalist will tell you - “all I want is a fair advantage”.

People like Kravitz don’t get rich by luck or hard work, they have Mom and Pop, the lobbyist and politician working for them 24/7 to give them everything they need.

Unfortunately real people can’t afford to buy the people they have “representing” them or don’t think they need to to be truly “repre$ented”.

For those that still think their representative actually represents them, shame on you.

Todays current tax system in American is so convoluted its hard to call it a system.

While state taxes are justified with schools, roads EMS and police, the feds take more than their fair share and squander it.

Ron Paul was right about eliminating the federal income tax.

One aspect missing from that accurate film- the role the private banking firm the ‘Federal Reserve’ plays in this national fiduciary Rape.
They lower interest rate- but only for the Incs- who use that break to skim off more. And our taxes are only used to pay off their Interest.
So while these ‘investment bankers’ are allowed to place US on the global auction block at a cut rate price (and our kids) We are not allowed to even suggest they pay for thier crimes- by making them payoff their own loans to themselves or their Foreign Creditors- even though WE Never Co Signed the Loans, we get stuck with the Bill. How terrible of me - a powerless nobody- to suggest we do to them what they have been doing to US (and OUR KIDS) for Decades! Waht a dangerous mind I am- too bad I have no way of actually amking such an atrocity happen, but yet they have and continue to do!

See, this is where registered Republicans get screwed.  They think they always have to vote Republican and get rid of the welfare moms.  Lower taxes is the mantra.  Well, this is what is going on and they don’t even know it.  They keep listening to the RICH, RICH pundits feed them crap over the t.v. and radio and continue to vote for what they think are conservative values.  Well, ha, ha, ha, they are voting to screw themselves.  Of course the Democrats are right behind the Republicans.

It’s hopeless.  Oh yeah!  The wars of occupation go on and the little guy will fund them for years to come.

The principle is:

From each according to ability,
To each according to need.

How can anyone dislike that.... unless the word “want” is inserted or substituted!

Back in the 50’s when I was a kid

All the holy, moly right wingers used to say

Better dead than red and the best commie is a dead commie and other such songs

Now I might not be politically correct but I kinda feel that the best capitalist is the deadest capitalist around.

Sound policy for the working man.
