‘Daily Show’: Pundits Perturbed by Pennsylvania PrimaryPosted on Apr 24, 2008
There’s a seasonal sport going on in the media: the age-old tradition of primary prediction. Tuesday’s Pennsylvania primary gave a whole host of TV hosts and pundits another shot at handicapping yet another big race between dueling Democrats Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama—but alas, as the contest concluded, heady excitement gave way to darker sentiments. Watch the clip:

Its pretty much the only program I watch. I gave up on the Corporate sponsored PBS newshour a long time ago
What is also scary is that Bush neocons pay spokespeople to pretend they are giving unbiased information reported as “news.”

If this is what passes for honorable, unbiased journalism these days, we are all going to hell in a handbasket.

Infinity and beyond - the definition of how corrupt our political system really is.
The pundits in their own special way are its groupies.

My goodness! I love this stuff. Honestly, the media can just die a traitor’s death because I don’t watch any damn mainstream news because it clashes with my addictions to factual accuracy and meaningful discussion. I just gotta get my fix. It’s a disease, I tell ya.
The best thing about The Daily Show has been their satire against other media outlets. I don’t really watch it because my television is usually off, but I love clips like the one in this segment.
On the flip-side, it’s extremely disheartening to think a large chunk of Americans listen to these media heads with an implicit acceptance of their debased, shoddy yellow journalism. Not as many as those who watch American Idol, though. 29million. Yikes.
