Ask me no questions and I’ll tell you no lies.

I don’t believe anyone even asked either Petraeus or Crocker about the Iraqi refugees or anything else they couldn’t paint an ambiguous happy face on.

Taxation without representation didn’t end with the Revolutionary War.

It’s sad that what our moron president, politicians, military, or our cheer-leading media do not tell us has to be told by a foreign media outlet. This short video clip speaks volumes for the horrors of the Iraqi quagmire than what those criminal military-politicians in Washington are not even willing to allude to in passing.

But this is not the end of this disastrous war, even when one day they might orchestrate a scenario for the drugged masses that we finally won the war in Iraq and the big guns actually fall silent.

Then wait for few years, when the the thousands of traumatized and psychologically disturbed Iraqis wake up to the reality of what America has done to them and their country, and another cycle of revenge and account-settling will start, which might dwarf the horrible events of 9 /11.

If history is a guide, then remember what happened to the dispossessed Palestinians refugees in 1947-1948, due to the horrors of the Israeli occupation. It took them till 1967 to wake up to the reality of what happened to them. And when they woke up, the process of their revenge continued to this day and will continue till they are finally satisfied that justice has been done.

The Iraqi quagmire might go down in history to be a one hundred-year on and off war. The U.S. military might be the dominant force in this initial stage of the formal war, but when the formal war is over, the average American citizen might find him / herself the target of the informal revenge war which follows.

Week or Fortnight of National Reflection

Premise:  Nothing bad could come of this country shutting down for a week or two; perhaps a lot of good

We have lost our way.  Far too many ordinary, hard working people in the world are oppressed, disenfranchised and disrespected.

Some great person, another MLK, perhaps, has to come forward and organize a time for pausing, reflection, reassessment and redefinition.  The wealthy in the world are out of control.

let's not forget the role of all

it’s not just rich americans who want to possess the globe. there seems to be less of everything. the poorer we get, the more frenzy for warfare and possession of goodies still available.
folks, as far as i know, this is going on for at least 10 millennia.
it had always been the rich that ruled over us. what can be done to break this grip on us?
educating nongoverning class everywhere is a big step towards a bettter world. but i not only do the talking, i do some of the walking.
let’s hit the streets and speak to passerbys who are not aware they’ve lost their ‘rica and costa rica. thank you.

None of the presidential candidates talk about the

We can’t expect this Administration to pay attention to the plight of the Iraqi refugees, after all what have they done to our own (Katrina) refugees? but none of the presidential candidates talk about the refugees or am I mistaken?

Re: None of the presidential candidates talk about

No randyha,

You are not mistaken. They don’t talk about this, and of course as you know, if THEY are reliant on US media, they don’t know.

It’s like Fadel said, here we are leaning of this, (with some exception since a few of us have been following this since the beginning) from a foreign news service, and even THIS you won’t find on any US media. When has any major media outlet, print or broadcast, actually brought this to the attention of the American public?

John McCain doesn’t even know the difference between Sunni and Shia, and hasn’t a clue to the fact that the MAJORITY of either don’t like al-Qaeda type Wahabis. They are the equvalent to the US KKK and other hate groups. So if these presidential candidates don’t even know that much, (and Obama may be the only one who knows the difference, but he hasn’t said anything) then they either don’t know, despite ALL of the reports from the UN, Int’l red cross, NGO’s and others, or they don’t care.

We KNOW that the current administration doesn’t care, so of course these two representatives of the Dick Bush regime aren’t going to address it.

Still, I’m agreeing with you and DennisD...I didn’t hear any of them even ask about these refugees in and from their own country. And yes, we shouldn’t be at all surprised, because ALL of this was predicted long before the invasion and occupation, and they did it anyway! It was a predictable outcome, and they went along with the plans, probably because it was what they hoped and intended all along. A massive cleansing of the area, all the better to completely take over the entire country.

This is hardly a new behavior for the US, Britain, or the West. That’s how the US was established to begin with. Natural disasters like Katrina just do some of the ‘work’ for them. Otherwise, they create their own...like agressive and illegal wars that are bound to destroy the fabric of the civil society, and millions of innocent civilians.

And, ordinary people like us are either uninformed, (because this is happening thousands of miles away from our own increasing nightmares, and the media doesn’t advise us) OR...any dissent among those of us who ARE aware, is immediately oppressed.

I noticed yet again, (and it’s become a permanent situtation)any citizens involved in protest demonstrations or other civil disobedience in D.C. are always arrested. No, it hasn’t always been this way, but it is now, because the lawless thugs in the White House have destroyed our Constitution, even though they’ve never formally declared martial law or the ‘state of exception’, that’s what we’ve been in for over 6 years.

Inc & AUE Interests- Never Our interests

Everytime I hear we are ‘protecting our interests in the Region’ I become further Outraged!
We told the ‘Gov’t ‘ to get out of the ME and Off their OIL in the ‘70s- WE Knew it was in our best interest to do so. Yet nothing was done, no new innovations for alternative fuels, not even more than a blink of an eye for Fuel efficient Vehicles. Who hare the REal terrorist to US? The OIL, AUTO and Banking Inc’s who have accepted the Contract (Hired Hit men) from the UAE to seize all oil rich lands and destroy any resistance.
How can we deny it- they have done the Same to US- brought OUR economy to it’s knees, usurped our Constitutional Rights and have made Record High Profits?
WE are not ‘Bitter’ ..WE are PISSED! We ‘Cling to Our Guns’ and God because they are the Only Rights and FReedoms they have not Yet Confiscated.
I am a 6th Gen Natural Born Citizen of european Descent- and I was Born & Raised in Michigan. I have seen and suffered from this Inc doctrine. I have no doubt others around the world are and have been suffering because of it for far longer.
Way to bring this Doctrine Down- levy War Crimes, Treason and Crimes against Humanity Charges against the Bush Admin, Congress, and the Incs. We mus ttell the UAE WE DON"T WORK FOR YOU- that contract is now Null & void.
