It’s hard to believe, but Fox News is already 12!  As the Murdochian news channel faces the inevitable growing pains of its ‘tween age, working hard to define President Bush’s legacy before he leaves office and displaying as many American flags as screen space will allow, “Daily Show” correspondent John Oliver salutes Fox with his own special tribute.

As bad as Fox is, blame must also be branded on CNN, ABC, MSNBC and NBC for running their own edited “news” and never holding Fox accountable. You know, like how the Democrats never hold Republicans accountable for their Religious Anarchist movement.

I’ve never got back to watching Daily or Colbert since the writer’s strike, but I do appreciate the ocassional snippet here. I can only belabor the obvious - those who need to get the point won’t see this, and even if they do, they won’t get it.

I agree Fadel. And…I also believe they’re on the way out…

Slowly but surely, American’s are coming out of their comas. It’s unfortunate that so many of them have been robbed of everything while they were ‘under the influence’.

But, maybe better late than not at all.

The poor American flag! Once a symbol for unity, freedom and democracy, has been used and abused by bigots, war-mongers and big-mouthed charlatans, full of hot air, and posing as patriots. The Fox News and the white trash fellows who dominate its airways represent the worst negative image of American fanaticism, arrogance and ignorance. It’s sad that all this cheap sensationalism is fed to Americans under the banner of “freedom of speech” when, in fact its representatives are the most dangerous enemies of freedom and truth.
