Bush Gets BooedPosted on Apr 1, 2008
After throwing the first pitch of the 2001 World Series, President Bush said he “felt the raw emotion” of the fans. The same could be said for his latest trip to the mound, where he endured the boos of thousands.

By Frank McEvoy, April 4 at 8:18 pm # Bush BoosHate to say it (because I loathe Bush), but I went to the opening day of baseball twice during the 1980s and saw Reagan throw the ball out. He got booed too. I know, because I was doing the booing.
By don knutsen, April 4 at 7:42 am # To hear thousands booing you would I’d imagine be disconcerning to most normal people. But this man, I’m quite sure lost no sleep over it. In his twisted mind, in his made-up reality he is still God’s warrior against evil and lets not forgett, God’s liason with big buisness too. Unfortunately his God cares nothing for the people. His god enjoys wars and chaos as long as there is a profit to be made. GW Bush is the poster boy for all that is wrong with america today to the rest of the world. And the GOP has successfully stood up an almost carbon-copy of bu$h in John McCain. I’d like to think that a majority of the american people have developed a learning curve with respect to what the republican party has become, but I’m not betting on it.
By lawlessone, April 3 at 2:39 pm # Bush should count himself lucky that the crowd isn’t throwing things at him instead of just booing. He deserves an indictment, not a photo op.
By Margaret Currey, April 2 at 12:39 pm # Bush being booedHe should get more than that he and Chaney should be Impeached, he has done so much damage, and the icing on the cake is the bailout of the Imvestment Banker, such shame, that only the well connected get help, and they also helped them to good retirement benefits or severence package, I don’t think the person who got 4 million deserved it, and the man (Simon) said it is in allignment with other CEO’s. I wonder why the person who is losing his home has to suffer, after all these guys make a profit and bailed out before the sky fell, kind of like Eron. These people with connection to the present administration are going to be the downfall of this country. I just hope Bush gets out of office before he declares that he will not step down because of another 9/ll similar attack. If they steal the election again, then a lot of people will be leaving the country. This country is no longer number one because the country has become corrupt, from Katrina and that mess, and now the rats are leaving the sinking ship, all of a sudden quiting for the sake of the family has become the matra of those leaving.
By Deborah, April 2 at 12:10 pm # Look closely between 35 - 38 seconds. As his grace enters the field, there’s more than just a video cut, it’s an audio cut as well. Why did this happen? Did Bush get an even more sour greeting than was captured on live tv? ************
By steve, April 2 at 11:37 am # Big dealI’m supposed to feel good that Bush actually got booed during a baseball game. Big deal. Sure, fantastic, nice to see him smirk. I’m sure he was really hurt by the fans reaction. On the other hand, I really don’t think he gives a rats ass about anyone in this country who doesn’t belong to his small circle of oil company executives and bank presidents. He and his friends need to be in The Haugue on trial for war crimes.
By Miguel, April 2 at 2:16 am # What? Just booed? sheeesh! Is that all Americans at a baseball game can do, is just boo the President? I watched the video, and I really was not certain that I was able to hear any boos at all. Though, I guess I needed to listen carefully. Never the less, if that’s all Americans can do, is just boo (or boo hoo) the President, then I guess Americans don’t have the balls to express themselves as they should, so that this monster could feel the real anger as well as hatred for him.
By Fernando, April 1 at 6:01 pm # If there is such a thing as justice in this world, something a skeptic like myself does not quite believe, Mr. Bush should stand in the docket at The Hague to answer for his war on the Iraqi people. After futilely marching against this war before it began in March, 2003, it has been my belief that Dubya will leave the presidency under a hail of rocks, rotten tomatoes and rotten eggs, a fitting end to the worst President that this nation has ever had to endure. The damage that he and his cabal have done to our country may well be irreparable. Pity the young, for they will pay and pay and pay for the crimes of his gang of thieves and religious fanatics.
By DennisD, April 1 at 5:25 pm # The peasants revoltWow, Bu$h Co. out among us common folk and he gets booed - who couldn’t see that coming. After all he’s been doing for/to us I’m really surprised. Add Your Comment |
