Dan Abrams

Rush Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos” is meant to throw the Democrats into disarray by keeping their primary race close, but according to MSNBC’s Dan Abrams, it just might be illegal.

Back in the USSA

Election fraud in the U.S.S.A. - stop the presses.

This isn’t exactly a man bites dog story now is it.

Clowns like Limpbag are only here to remind us all of how far off the track our system of government has gone. Proudly defending either the D or R label only assures that it remains that way.

I was watching Washington Journal on C-Span and a caller called in on the republican line and said she was voting for Hillary Clinton.  The c-span moderator asked her if she wanted Hillary Clinton to win in November and the caller said that she was going to vote for John McCain in November.  The moderator then asked the caller why she was voting for Hillary Clinton and the caller said that she wanted the democratic race to continue because it was destroying the party and she didn’t want Obama to win.  It is happening.

WAKE UP FOLKS!!!

If voting could change anything, it would be illegal.

It’s not who votes that counts, it’s who counts the vote.

History, especially recent history, has proven these two statements to be true beyond a shadow of a doubt.

You want to be counted? You want to make a difference?

the practicality of temporarily switching sides

So… I admit to have registered Republican for our closed primary in order to vote for the closest-to-center John McCain as the Republican presidential candidate instead of the right-wing extremists Rush and his friends endorsed.  McCain didn’t win my state, but it looks like he’ll be the red candidate; and I’m thinking that’s maybe not an entirely bad thing.  Who’s to say it’s not because lots of other folks did what I did, too?  If so, the joke is on Rush.

It’s more acceptable than not, in my opinion, for the winners of Democratic primaries to be people who mainstream Republicans (as opposed to nutcases like Limbaugh) could at least live with OR for the winners of Republican primaries to be people who mainstream Democrats (and even Barney Frank and Dennis Kucinich are much more centrist than Rush or Bill) could at least live with.  That, I think, would be the optimal result of a truly democratic (little “d") system.

Maybe this is a way for the system to correct itself just a little, and I don’t begrudge Republicans not having to live with a Kucinich presidency if I don’t have to live with a Huckabee.

Did I obey the letter of the law in my state?  Yes.
Did I lie?  Technically not.  My state’s registration form only asks which party I wish to register with, and requires no affidavit or pledge of support.
Did I subvert the system?  If so, the system is WAY too fragile.

It might be illegal?  So what?

Who’s going to investigate?  The pack of cowards in Congresss?

The Department of Justice?

The Attorney General?

NO, NO and NO again.

The lawless Bush/Cheney Junta, along with their butt-kissing sycophants in the MSM, don’t give a damn about law or order.

We’re on our own.

Whatever happened to voting to determine the will of the majority of the people?  It’s like taxes, the rich have attorneys working full time to figure loop holes and shelters and ways of getting out of their fair share.  Now, it seems, elections are a bigger sham in this country (maybe they have been for a long time) than in those developing nations we always seem to be monitoring during theirs.

It seems Limbaugh has never worked at anything so hard as he is this attempt to thwart Senator Clinton’s nomination.  Has she offended his male ego sometime in the past?  Does he have a secret yearning?

Pig

Dear TWP (which you are far from in my vantage), this isn’t about who did it first, or legalities, or “crying dems”; this is about a pig who has, throughout his “career”, strived to divide our country. This pig (and I mean no offense to my friend and fellow mammal, the swine) is NOT a patriot, is NOT a true Amrerican citizen, and is most certainly NOT a productive member of the Human Race.

Why? Because he desires, forments, and sweats for the division of his fellow citizens, and not the unity of his fellow citizens; exactly like the neo-con base you so fervently defend--on this and other posts. In essence, that is their strength.

Is it his right? Absolutely. Is it right? A true citizen believes not.

Look closely at the word seperation and you will find among its meanings the word sedition. Look further and you will find one potential result of sedition: implosion. It’s a deep word--when used properly.

Well ya know folks..looking at this in terms of what the thugs in DC have been able to do with IMPUNITY, makes us clearly wonder how anyone could ever actually take any legal action against Rush Limbaugh. I mean, talk about Teflon coated.

Let us not forget the many crimes that Rush has already escaped. He’s a junkie, and we know that. He’s been brought up on charges before...all of the prescriptions that he was wheeling and dealing to get his huge supply of pills...The OxyContin.. also known as “Hillbilly Heroine”

Now if he was a black guy…he’d have been under the jail long ago. But, he’s not, and so…he admitted his addiction, went into rehab, (like they all do) and never did time for the ‘crimes’.

He won’t now either, because that’s just the way it goes. He’s a useful tool for the radical right, and they will keep him in business. The Mafia ALWAYS protects their own, until they no longer serve a useful purpose, (in this case, as a minister of propaganda) and then they either throw them under the bus themselves, or let the crowd do them in.

I found it more than a little bit significant that he’s named his tactics ‘Operation Chaos’. That is the PRIMARY tactic of all these types. Every fascist regime in the last Century has relied on chaos to further its goals/takeover/domination. Chaos and instability are requirements. It’s a primary ‘trick of the trade’. Confusion reigns, and keeps people off balance. It also produces its own level of terror in any society…psychological terror, and it does its dirty work effectively.

Jeeze...things aren’t getting any better. Might be time to prepare the younger generation for life outside the US. Of course I’ve said that before. Guess we’ll just have to see what happens.

I think it’s illegal given what I’m understanding of Ohio’s rules.  In any other state it’s definitely unethical.  But as I said, this will only push honest conservatives into the democratic party.  The CROOKS will play this game, but many honest conservatives/currently republicans will not find this funny and will switch parties.

I think this will be especially true in the more rural areas where “everyone knows who everyone is”.  In these areas, even the crooks will think twice.

I think I know ONE person who can

Little Miss “I’m getting nervous...” from Rush’s radio show.  The call is on tape, and she is admitting that she defrauded the system (admitting nervousness to prosecution is practically tantamount to admitting guilt)

It’s not Free Speech-it’s voter tampering and it’s illegal. But I guess that’s the ONLY way Republicans can win, isn’t it? Otherwise, Rush wouldn’t be encouraging it.

Rush is basically saying, “We are LOSERS, unless we screw with the Democratic Primaries, that’s how strong their best candidate is”.
