Rush Runs Onto Shaky GroundPosted on Mar 26, 2008
Rush Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos” is meant to throw the Democrats into disarray by keeping their primary race close, but according to MSNBC’s Dan Abrams, it just might be illegal.

Pigs are actually incredibly intelligent animals. And comparison between Rush and swine is not at all fair to the latter…

Election fraud in the U.S.S.A. - stop the presses.
This isn’t exactly a man bites dog story now is it.
Clowns like Limpbag are only here to remind us all of how far off the track our system of government has gone. Proudly defending either the D or R label only assures that it remains that way.

You don’t get it. Rush is asking republicans to vote FOR Clinton, not against her. They’re dragging this thing on and on and on for the sole purpose of watching the democratic party delay in getting their nominee. They are voting for Clinton because they believe she can be easily beaten.

I was watching Washington Journal on C-Span and a caller called in on the republican line and said she was voting for Hillary Clinton. The c-span moderator asked her if she wanted Hillary Clinton to win in November and the caller said that she was going to vote for John McCain in November. The moderator then asked the caller why she was voting for Hillary Clinton and the caller said that she wanted the democratic race to continue because it was destroying the party and she didn’t want Obama to win. It is happening.

If voting could change anything, it would be illegal.
It’s not who votes that counts, it’s who counts the vote.
History, especially recent history, has proven these two statements to be true beyond a shadow of a doubt.
You want to be counted? You want to make a difference?

So… I admit to have registered Republican for our closed primary in order to vote for the closest-to-center John McCain as the Republican presidential candidate instead of the right-wing extremists Rush and his friends endorsed. McCain didn’t win my state, but it looks like he’ll be the red candidate; and I’m thinking that’s maybe not an entirely bad thing. Who’s to say it’s not because lots of other folks did what I did, too? If so, the joke is on Rush.
It’s more acceptable than not, in my opinion, for the winners of Democratic primaries to be people who mainstream Republicans (as opposed to nutcases like Limbaugh) could at least live with OR for the winners of Republican primaries to be people who mainstream Democrats (and even Barney Frank and Dennis Kucinich are much more centrist than Rush or Bill) could at least live with. That, I think, would be the optimal result of a truly democratic (little “d") system.
Maybe this is a way for the system to correct itself just a little, and I don’t begrudge Republicans not having to live with a Kucinich presidency if I don’t have to live with a Huckabee.
Did I obey the letter of the law in my state? Yes.
Report thisDid I lie? Technically not. My state’s registration form only asks which party I wish to register with, and requires no affidavit or pledge of support.
Did I subvert the system? If so, the system is WAY too fragile.

Why didn’t you whine when your party did it? pretty simple question. Or is it just because of Rush.

Your ranting sounds just like Rev. Wright. Which I have found , when you confront a liberal with what they do , the names the insults and their vast feeling of superiority comes to the forefront. You guys had Air America and all they did was slam the other side. You have Moveon.org they do just what Rush is doing, you have Huffington she does just as Rush is doing, little more on the evil side. But it’s ok for your side Give me a break. You have CNN,MSNBC,ALGore ,HNN, we have FOX and Rush.So what is the problem, Oh I dont listen to Rush. I used too but he just didnt do it for me.. Every time something the Dems do it is OK, but if a Rep.does it the exact same thing ,it’s like how dare you that is so un american, and your right I does not matter who did it first. SO WHERE WERE YOU WHEN IT WAS DONE BUY THE LIBS/DEMS.

Typical white person, (who isn’t at all a typical white person…thank God for small things) writes a funny here. Gee TWP, I didn’t know that African-Americans had access to good lawyers too. Well, waddaya know. Hot damn! You’ve made my day.
As for how much longer you’ll have to ‘endure’ the total inequality of our criminal and social justice system, I guess that depends on how long it’s gonna take for ignorant (not to typical anymore) people like you to either die off, and get some intelligence.
As long as the system remains as imbalanced as it is, for ALL races and classes of Americans, you’re gonna have to ‘endure’ it. Seems to me like it would be easier on you, and definitely better in the long run, to just ditch the bitterness and the bad attitude, so you could make some progress.
Meantime, I think we’re all fine with you leaving the dem/liberal party.
The thing I don’t understand is how or why you all find your ways to sites like this, when I know for a fact there are many other ‘hate’ sites on the Internet that share your hate principles. TONS of them.
So, what’s up with that? Are you just like a glutton for punishment, as my mom used to say?

Your idea of illegal immigration is ridiculous. You cannot automatically rid this country of twenty-million undocumented people without turning America into a 100% police state under marshal law. Our lands don’t provide enough oil to fuel us for a full year at current consumption levels. Jeb Bush is no longer governor, so it isn’t his coast. No Bush has any claim to my state.
Claiming illegal Immigrants are the reason our economy sucks, as you are implying by saying ridding them would help our economy, is false or, at best, of skeptical validity. Our country isn’t a welfare state, and the government aid would be less required if our government would stop giving a pass to the business owners and corporations which exploit our people and send jobs overseas while also destroying education opportunity. Most of the aid given to foreign nations is via charitable non-profit (or for profit) private establishments.
Please, oh please, I hope one day you realize you have been fed lies forever by shady politicians posing as conservatives and corporate mass-medias. Understand you have no solutions. Know it is okay to be wrong, and to move forward.
Opportunity requires Unity.

I do believe you might be full of poop. It,s more like the hell with the welfare state, lets get rid of the illegals, end NAFTA, quit the hand-outs quit giving to the starving and poor in the other nations, including Asia and Africa lets drill for our own oil in ANWAR, lets mine our own coal, lets build wind farms even on Kennedy’s, Martha’s Vineyard and Jeb Bush’s coast of Florida, start with the Illegals that would help the economy, then we can work on your SUV . Lets work on US before we work with them.

Whatever happened to voting to determine the will of the majority of the people? It’s like taxes, the rich have attorneys working full time to figure loop holes and shelters and ways of getting out of their fair share. Now, it seems, elections are a bigger sham in this country (maybe they have been for a long time) than in those developing nations we always seem to be monitoring during theirs.
It seems Limbaugh has never worked at anything so hard as he is this attempt to thwart Senator Clinton’s nomination. Has she offended his male ego sometime in the past? Does he have a secret yearning?

Dear TWP (which you are far from in my vantage), this isn’t about who did it first, or legalities, or “crying dems”; this is about a pig who has, throughout his “career”, strived to divide our country. This pig (and I mean no offense to my friend and fellow mammal, the swine) is NOT a patriot, is NOT a true Amrerican citizen, and is most certainly NOT a productive member of the Human Race.
Why? Because he desires, forments, and sweats for the division of his fellow citizens, and not the unity of his fellow citizens; exactly like the neo-con base you so fervently defend--on this and other posts. In essence, that is their strength.
Is it his right? Absolutely. Is it right? A true citizen believes not.
Look closely at the word seperation and you will find among its meanings the word sedition. Look further and you will find one potential result of sedition: implosion. It’s a deep word--when used properly.

Claiming the Democratic party is in shambles? That’s a stretch even for a righty like you. Which party ruined the economy, got us into a foreign policy nightmare, enabled the rich and connected to take advantage of average Americans, lied repeatedly about every major issue and decides to wage war against homosexuals and immigrants while destroying the American constitution? People are sick of Republicans, and don’t think for one second McCain has any chance in the general election.

TWP is a Typical Neo-Conservative. You’ve learned nothing but how to be self-righteous and arrogant. You were sold a smile and a pat on the back by the Republicans, but I have a question for you and everyone else who dares to question another American’s patriotism when the criticize the government.
How many flags do we have to wave to pull our economy out of recession?
How many flag lapel pins must we wear to stop the sub-prime mortgage crisis?
How often must we pledge allegiance to end our occupation of Iraq?
Patriotism is action to defend your country’s values, laws and people. Progressives act out of patriotism. Neo-conservatives act out of selfishness and greed.

Sounds like the Dems crying about hanging chads and disenfranchisement, and early primaries in Fla. and Mich. then whining when it doesn’t go their way. crying when the Republicans tell Harry ,so you want a vote on funding the war, OK we the republicans will give you the vote, then Reid crying you cant give us what we want, that means we wont have anyone to blame. Take some responsibility. your party in in shambles, and your own party created it, you took control of the senate, and nothing has been done, NOTHING, no bills passed ,NOTHING, your current party is useless, you need to find another party to join and not the republican party. something independent maybe. you people followed BO and HRC like little lost puppies, when the debates were ongoing and the networks and HRC/OB cut out the little guys like Dennis K and such, you puppies should have said that was wrong, Dems preach all about fairness and freedom of speech equal opportunity, but only if its good for the chosen few. Can you say IMPLOSION, I bet you can…

illegal, remember the Dems have done it too. The Supreme court has also made it clear, that no Government official can question you about your vote, so the Ohio vote thing is a moot point, and as we get closer to the end I can see the blame shifting away from the liberals who created their own mess, to blaming the Republicans.. also Cyrena “if he was a black guy” damn Cyrena your true colors are coming out. Its called good lawyers and yes Cyrena blacks have good lawyers too. Well ya know folks..looking at this in terms of what the thugs in DC have been able to do with IMPUNITY, makes us clearly wonder how anyone could ever actually take any legal action against Rush Limbaugh. I mean, talk about Teflon coated.
Let us not forget the many crimes that Rush has already escaped. He’s a junkie, and we know that. He’s been brought up on charges before...all of the prescriptions that he was wheeling and dealing to get his huge supply of pills...The OxyContin.. also known as “Hillbilly Heroine”
Now if he was a black guy…he’d have been under the jail long ago. But, he’s not, and so…he admitted his addiction, went into rehab, (like they all do) and never did time for the ‘crimes’.
He won’t now either, because that’s just the way it goes. He’s a useful tool for the radical right, and they will keep him in business. The Mafia ALWAYS protects their own, until they no longer serve a useful purpose, (in this case, as a minister of propaganda) and then they either throw them under the bus themselves, or let the crowd do them in.
I found it more than a little bit significant that he’s named his tactics ‘Operation Chaos’. That is the PRIMARY tactic of all these types. Every fascist regime in the last Century has relied on chaos to further its goals/takeover/domination. Chaos and instability are requirements. It’s a primary ‘trick of the trade’. Confusion reigns, and keeps people off balance. It also produces its own level of terror in any society…psychological terror, and it does its dirty work effectively.
Jeeze...things aren’t getting any better. Might be time to prepare the younger generation for life outside the US. Of course I’ve said that before. Guess we’ll just have to see what happens.

I think it’s illegal given what I’m understanding of Ohio’s rules. In any other state it’s definitely unethical. But as I said, this will only push honest conservatives into the democratic party. The CROOKS will play this game, but many honest conservatives/currently republicans will not find this funny and will switch parties.
I think this will be especially true in the more rural areas where “everyone knows who everyone is”. In these areas, even the crooks will think twice.

Little Miss “I’m getting nervous...” from Rush’s radio show. The call is on tape, and she is admitting that she defrauded the system (admitting nervousness to prosecution is practically tantamount to admitting guilt)
It’s not Free Speech-it’s voter tampering and it’s illegal. But I guess that’s the ONLY way Republicans can win, isn’t it? Otherwise, Rush wouldn’t be encouraging it.
Rush is basically saying, “We are LOSERS, unless we screw with the Democratic Primaries, that’s how strong their best candidate is”.
