Americans of a certain age may take umbrage at David Letterman’s characterizations of 71-year-old presidential candidate John McCain as a “Wal-Mart greeter,” a “mall-walker” and “the guy at the supermarket who is confused by the automatic doors.”

So here he is- John McCain, poster child for USA’s most maddeningly mindless and bone-headed strain of militarism.  Learned nothing from vietnam, nothing from iraq, promises more of the same because he’s actually proud of being retarded in this peculiar and seemingly unfathomable way.

Isn’t he funny, doesn’t he look funny, let’s all laugh at him because of the way he looks.  ha ha.

is not worthy of being President. He is to old and nothing but a yes man for all the policies of GW. We need change and a vision of what America can be again. Our nation is following GW down to the lowest level of Humanity. Meaning we no longer have Humanity, we just think we are more important than any Nation in the world. we no longer lookout for the Underdog, we kick them when they are down. Right up John Mcains alley.

LOL!

Grouchy McCain is funny all by himself, especially with those hokey victory speeches. Still, that old rascal still has sex rumors afloat with some callow lobbyist, proving fire in his old furnace even with all that snow on his roof. Since we now know that RethugniCons will blatantly lie about past sexual improprieties, with the full intention to cover up their shame and crime while simultaneously deceiving us always flagrantly aforethought, I can’t wait to see the pictures of the McCain Affair in the National Enquirer. Nothing is ever funnier than McCain going way off his chain in an atomic rage, only to later apologize to his staff for inexcusably cutting up again. “Friends, once again, I apologize.”

McCain is an older guy.  He’s also a totally dynamic guy.  That combo gives the talk shows plenty of room to make fun of his age.  If he was just coming off a heart attack or seemed weak in any way, it would seem below the belt to mock his age.  But he’s not.  He’s got more energy than most candidates out there.  And so, they can poke at it.  (Remember how Reagan made fun of his own age?  I’m sure McCain will do the same.)

For Dave, Leno, and the rest to not mention the elephant in the room (the silver-haired elephant?) would make them bad comics.
