Bush in Africa
thinkprogress.org

The year is 2008, and President George W. Bush has learned an important lesson in global affairs: “Outside forces” taking part in foreign clashes “tend to divide people up inside their country” and “are unbelievably counterproductive.”

This is laughable convenient rationale. The fact is that U.S. has consistently meddled in and invaded other countries at will.

The scary thing...

is that Bush probably doesn’t see the irony in his comments.

where's the oil?

as i’ve said before, the US government will go to war wherever there is oil.  there is none in darfur, so of course they won’t go there.  and for all the ‘zionist’ critics, if isreal had all the oil and the arab countries had none, you’d better believe that the US would be stock-piling the arab countries with weaponry as they have isreal.  its all about the oil, the rest is just filler to keep you talking and not acting, and its working extremely well.

The Bush/Cheney Junta has not sent American kids-yet- to fight and die in Darfur because it’s not one of Israel’s “existential” enemies… yet.

The Bush/Cheney/Olmert company of MURDER Inc. has plans for American kids to come home in flag draped coffins from Iran and by gosh, they might just succeed.

Israel knows another 9/11 attack on American soil is out of the question.

So is stovepiping lies, more lies and damn lies from Tel Aviv to the White House Office of Special Plans, like they did to help jump start the illegal and immoral war against Iraq.

So Israel will just keep on with its extrajudicial killings of Syrians, Lebanese and maybe even an Iranian or two, in the hopes that Syria or Iran will take the bait and try to defend itself.

When they do, all hell will break loose in the ME and Bush might finally get his wish to be “Raptured” up to heaven on a stairway built out of millions and millions of charred corpses.

A bridge too far

Darfur is a long way from Tel Aviv.

"Unbelievably Counterproductive"

In the infamous words of Forrest Gump, “That’s all I have to say about that”.
