Oh my gosh!

I just had a thought!

Suppose it wasn’t Bill making decisions when he was in the White House? Suppose it was actually Hillary? Suppose they had a deal, “You go first honey, then it’s my turn.”

Suppose the plan got messed up by Bills “indiscretion?” Suppose Bill’s afraid he’ll be un-masked, oh not for being a womanizer ... that’s not important, but for being a fraud?

Suppose unconsciously he really is trying to sabotage Hillary’s campaign?

Suppose preserving his own legacy is infinitely more important to him than being the First Lady?

Lot’s of supposes I know, but think about it.
Hillary’s campaign was moving ahead splendidly until Bill took to the podium! wink

has reared its ugly head yet again.  Whereas he used to unzip to feed it, he now has the opportunity to feed it by way of a third White House term - with Hillary, of course, as attache in residence.

With her incompetent handlers, mouthpieces, advisors and self-promoting husband, it’ll truly be a miracle if she gets the nomination.

The man is the best, IMHO, so it’s great to see him with one of the “big boyz”. He takes it to the righties like no one else, putting Juan Williams and Colmes to shame (although, yeesh, that ain’t sayin’ much!).
It’s great to see him go head to head with Krauthammer on the Inside Washington show. On the show last week, Shields, lamenting our utterly misplaced priorities, pointed out that a hedge fund manager raking in millions is taxed at one third the rate that a firefighter is. That is sick.
He has also been a consistent and ardent critic of the obscenely disproportionate sacrifice that so few have been made to bear, while the rest of the country, especially the most well off, get a totally free ride.
It’s the Edwards theme, but done better, with a poignancy and relevence to the lives of average shmoes. With Edwards gone and Obama being careful not to diss his “starbuck$” vote, that leaves, what, HILLARY (?) to make that case? Not bloody likely! But I think Shields deserves all the credit in the world for doing whatever he can to keep the issues of social and economic justice out there.

One of his best lines, spoken in mocking jest, not with defeatism, was:

“There is no more class warfare in this country. The rich have won! The only thing left to do is close that dangerous gap between the rich, and the super-rich!”

Fight on brother Shields…

Did you say super pundits or senior pundits? Some of them can barely talk.

you mean Hillary is running for President, and not Bill???  They why did he say just the other day that he “could understand that there will be some people out there that will not vote for me”.

Bill is Hillary’s downfall.  He’s not an asset, he’s the set ASS.  He must be sabotaging Hillary’s campaign on purpose, because there’s NO WAY anyone who’s been in that position could be so STUPID.

I’d be great fun to see Bill, a Texas bleached blonde and GW play a head to head game of “Are you smarter than a fifth grader”.

Or maybe Bill has a $5 million dollar side bet going and the thought of his possible loss is making him edgy.  Course there was that woman who was running the campaign…..and then got the boot…hmmmm.  Ya’ know they’re always like that (show extreme defense of “their woman”) when they’re about ready to get caught in the act.

Yep, It’s the Clintons….Meet the Clintons…have a Yabba Dabba Do time, a Dabba Do Time….....
