Stewart on Romney
comedycentral.com

Jon Stewart bids farewell to Mitt Romney, erstwhile presidential candidate and “man-shaped polymer casing for a spiritual vacuum” (ouch!), and calls into question Romney’s anti-terrorist rationale for bowing out of the ’08 race.

Do you get the feeling Mitt Romney speaks for the Taliban of American politics.

The usual double talking mumbo jumbo from heir Mitt.  Europe is not religious enough and the CIA trained Jihadists are too religious.  I was puzzled too when I heard Mitt speak: “Don’t vote for me as I’m a loser.” Is that what he was really saying?  Still, you would think it didn’t have to take 40 million of his vast fortune getting flushed down the toilet for him to realize that. How I wished he kept on campaigning and wasted another 40 million of his much vaunted wealth.

Ohhhhhhh for the good old days of fighting Commie bastards.  Life was so simple then.

“Someone please explain to me where the government gets the right to take my money and give it to someone who won’t get a job...”

That IS government. The neocon government is the biggest Entitlement Program in the history of all mankind. And the Military Industrial Complex (obviously a psycho-dinero issue) is their largest welfare recipient next to all the economically purposeless federal employees.

The hatred the Republican party (and their so-called “Christian” adherents) has for the American people knows no bounds. Why this issue isn’t a rallying point for the Democrats is mystifying.

The GOP screams daily about it’s hatred for Americans (not just progressives, liberals, and minorities, but the overwhelming majority of the people of this country opposed to their agenda), yet because the GOP waves the flag and pretends to be “patriotic”, their obvious hypocrisy is ignored. Has anyone ever heard the rightwing talk with as much venom about Osama Bin Laden as it does towards the American people? Those Americans that don’t support their agenda? Of course not! Bin Laden is more of a mascot for the GOP than anything that get’s their ire. Their blind HATRED is always aimed squarely at the American people and this country’s foundations - from it’s constitution to it’s civil liberties to the very laws which givern us.

Enough with the GOP constantly slamming the American people and mocking it principles! It’s time to face the reality of the GOP’s deep, undying contempt for America, and their insatiable desire to undo everything it stands for.

We truly are living in wacky times when people like Romney are given a pulpit to spit out bile like he did the other day. And now we still have left in the Republican race, Mike Huckabee who today said Jerry Falwell was one of the greatest men he ever met. Now I know what Republican’s mean when they say McCain is not a conservative. John McCain still has a rational thought or two left in his brain, so he is anethema to the extreme right wing which appears to have taken over the entire Republican party apparatus. The Republican Party is out of touch with the majority of Republican’s who are not right wing extremists, but merely conservative which makes them seem liberal in the eye’s of those in control of the party. Not only is this party wacky they are also scary. Fifty years ago, the only Republican’s who were this out of touch were members of the John Birch Society, and they were ridiculed. It look’s like we will survive eight years of George W. Bush, but it is imperative now that Clinton or Obama win this election. This just might be the most important election since 1932 when FDR changed the political landscape in dramatic fashion.

It would seem that God did not bless Mittens with the ability to construct a logical train of thought. It sounds like he was paraphrasing from a cheeto eating wingnut who shall remain nameless as to avoid advertising his monumentally idiotic swing and miss whiff of a book equating liberals with fascists. (Man that’s a crappy sentence but I like it.)

I mean I try to keep an open mind but it seems as though these people live in some alternate universe. If this other dimension had a name I would guess it would be called DENIAL. I have even tried venturing onto Right-wing blog to see if I’m missing something but I end up losing brain cells in the process.

Simply astounding.

Ooooooooo-hhhh!!! If Democrats are “terrorists”, what were they planning to do with them, eh...... “in the name of God”, uhh???

Well, I guess his wife was right about the “man-shaped… casing for a spiritual vacuum”. Just goes to show how many women don’t really care.

Boy, is my face red. I don’t think poor potty training as a child has anything to do with it.  He’s the natural result of too many uncles marrying too many nieces.  maybe his “Holy” undergarments are too tight.
Anyway, someone that is more concerned about the next life than this one shouldn’t be allowed to run for office...and that includes Huckabee.

Social Welfare is a good thing?  Maybe to a degree, but certianly not in the way it is done in this county, and certainly not in the way any of the prominent Dems are proposing.  Poverty is generational.  For the most part, our welfare system keeps the poor in poverty.

Someone please explain to me where the government gets the right to take my money and give it to someone who won’t get a job, or who won’t go to school (it’s free for the poor), or for someone who decides to have five kids out of wedlock.  Contrary to what you believe, most Conservatives don’t think you’re not human if you have kids out of wedlock, we just know that it’s the number one predicter of poverty.

I see just as much hate coming out of you as you think you see coming out of the mouths of Republicans.
