Dodd
Crooks and Liars

Sen. Chris Dodd just put his money where his mouth has been in the presidential campaign, filibustering a nasty bit of legislation the Senate tried to push through before the Christmas break. Here he tells MSNBC why giving retroactive immunity to the telecom companies for spying on Americans is a bad thing.

Watch it here.

PLEASE HELP!! This is a very critical time for the Democrats…something has to be done and done NOW before it’s too late! Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have got to go!!…

If Democrats continue with these two charlatans in Leadership Positions, the chances are increasing even more than what they already are that voters will view Democrats as weak leaders on just about anything and everything! And of course this translates into fewer pickups in both Houses - if not losses…

It’s past time to dump these two idiots NOW!!…Chris Dodd would be a GREAT leader in the Senate- he’s already proven that!!…and Dennis Kucinich in the House - u talk about a fighter! - Republicans would have finally met their match!!

Dodd appears to be a straight shooter. I will have no problem giving him my vote and support. The question for me is whether he is capable of winning in the general election.

I am also a new fan of Dodd, I was impressed when I heard him talk on PBS.

I will vote for him if he is in the primary, but the fact is that any Democrat is better than the run of Republicians.

I work at Google’s main campus. Over the past few months many presidential candidates have spoken to us and I’ve listened to most of them. Senator Dodd was the most recent to speak to us. He is a true statesman who, unlike most of his competition, actually cares about doing what is right for all Americans, not just the rich and corporations. I left his presentation wishing fervently that I have the chance to vote for him. The other candidates left me feeling like tossing a coin.

The press make the front runners.  They (the press)(not all but most) are so stupid that they are unable to pick people out that have made sense and have been right about the war in Iraq and about people’s right to privacy.

Thomas Billis is correct.

Kucinich is not a Senator or he would have been there with Senator Dodd, I am sure.

If Americans had a brain, the front runners would be Dodd, Biden, Kucinich and Richardson.

Anybody who is not taking a second look Dodd in this race is making a big mistake.Of all the Democratic Senators running for President he was the only one who thought our civil liberties important enough to fly back and try to protect them.I know it probably was good campaign strategy for him but wouldn’t it have been equally as good for the others to cut off the rhetoric and show some fight. What a perfect spot for all of them to pick a fight with this White House. They all give speeches about protecting the Constitution and what did all of them except for Dodd do nothing.
