 Clooney and Pitt Spoof Larry Craig Stall ScenePosted on Dec 6, 2007
If Sen. Larry Craig’s public humiliation wasn’t already complete, here come those two Hollywood jokesters, George Clooney and Brad Pitt, to keep the story of Craig’s restroom scandal circulating in popular culture. In a video tribute to Julia Roberts, Clooney is busy singing Roberts’ praises and explaining why he can’t be there for the presentation of her American Cinematheque Award when he feels movement near his foot. Judy, Pitt says, “I have a wide stance”. Pitt is quoting one of the many arguments Senator Larry Craig from Idaho put forth to explain the encroachment of his foot into the adjoining stall that he found out later to be occupied by an undercover police officer who was trying to nab anyone engaging in Homosexual activity in the now famous mens room at the airport. In this case the officer caught a U.S. Senator!
