Iran sanctions
linktv.org

This week’s Mosaic Intelligence Report looks at the U.S.‘s newly imposed sanctions against Iran’s military—the first time, the Link TV report points out, that the U.S. has sought to punish another country’s military this way.  Could America’s latest move constitute a prelude to war?  Iranian officials have reacted angrily, saying the sanction strategy is “doomed to failure.”

The problem with the inhabitants of the White House is that they are less concerned about what goes on in America and more concerned with Israel. Iran has never attacked the US neither does it possess the capabilties to do so. Israel is sitting on 200 nuclear bombs enough to set the entire Middle East on fire. One or two more bombs in Iran won’t make a diffirence.

Insanity may be a factor as far as Bush is concerned, but the people around Bush are not
as lunatics as he is. Bush, of course, is a puppet in their hands.
They are mostly Jewish and they are not concerned at all what damage a war against Iran would cause, either to the U.S. or to the rest of the World. They are however, extremely preocupied about its consequences on their beloved Israel.
Nobody really knows what Iranians have in their arsenal and the haunting fear is gripping our warriors that a shower of rockets might fall on the subject of their adoration -the moment we start bombing Iran.
Behind our Chimp there are some very rational crooks.
And this is the only good news for all of us.

The people of America (that is, just the USA) have never been able to face the truth about themselves. Starting WW3 seems to be an easier option for the politicians than having to admit any error on their own part.

The sub-prime mortgage (‘mortgage’ means a death-grip!) meltdown is just the tip of the melting iceberg of the economic stupidity of the world’s greatest debtor nation. In trying to control everybody else on the planet, the USA has been unable to even control its own markets.

Trying to force countries to trade in $US since the end of WW2 has become the main modus operandi in propping up the illusion of US wealth and superiority. As the USA prints $US, that is an exclusive imperative (search fiat currency). It is part of the great illusion that paper money has any real value.

What is worse is the “ivory tower” of the congress and the senate which absolves its participants from any ‘legal’ liability for their actions. They are thus immune from prosecution and use this as a shield from behind which they can perform as irresponsibly as the worst incompetents. Wars are the inevitable result…...

I sometimes wake up, read the news, and am convinced the entire government of the USA has become an insane asylum.

Condoleeza Rice says the US will respond “decisively” to Iranian “threats.”

What “threats?”

Iran hasn’t attacked another country in over 200 years. Iran has no nukes, would be years from making a nuke if they started a crash program tomorrow, and furthermore has stated repeatedly it has no interest in acquiring nukes, which the Ayatollahs proclaim is “contrary to Islam.”

Iran wants to enrich uranium for use in peaceful generation of power. This requires enrichment to a purity of about three percent. Weapons require over 90 percent purity of the correct isotope (if I remember physics, the desired isotope is U235).

Iran is a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (Israel, of course, is not). The NPT specifically states that all signatories have an inalienable right to process uranium for peaceful uses. Furthermore, all nuclear fuel is subject to intrusive inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). All those inspections have turned up exactly ZERO evidence that Iran has any nuclear weapons program whatsoever. (Google physicist Gordon Prather for details.)

How terrifying is this Iranian monster? Well, Iran has a GNP on a par with Norway, Denmark, and Finland—even including oil revenues. Its military was barely able to fight Iraq to a draw in the 1980’s (you know—the Iraq that was our ALLY at the time, whom we provided WMDs that were subsequently used against Iran. Remember?). That was the mighty Iraqi army that fell to US forces in a few weeks in 1991, and again in 2003.

What can Iran do to stave off a US attack? Apparently, nothing. They’ve tried all kinds of diplomatic overtures, all of which have been rebuffed by the US.

By the way, all the US presidential candidates support nuking Iran as “an option” to “keep on the table” (with the exceptions of Ron Paul and possibly Dennis Kucinich). These moral midgets are usually lauded as being either “pragmatic” or “idealistic.” Kucinich and Paul and usually scorned as being “unrealistic” for not wanting to start a pointless war with Iran.

Has the entire country gone stark raving mad?

Head may bow but not the mind
To insist on calling Iraq invasion a war of ‘freedom of Iraqi people’ by United States is ludicrous and a bizarre anomaly. After destroying the entire Iraq and turning into rubble; US new quest for a ‘victory’ there; looks absurd? As probably people don’t know that what the factual position in Iraq is?

Why we tend to disregard the fact that we are out there to illegally occupy a sovereign country by thrusting an atrocious havoc upon them and bringing the destruction and anarchy to the feeble and defenceless, destitute people of Iraq.Disintegrating the very basic weaves and grains of the society and making them flee their home land; so that consolidation of American mega, mega bases in Iraq and grand US plan of Greater Middle East to fully occupy and bring the entire area into US folds becomes easier.

US Armed Forces deployed are ruthlessly exterminating every one who so ever comes in range; declaring every citizen there a terrorist; thus creating enemies all over the places. In order to prolong their stay, a subsequent phase of provoking Iranians to react and be punished on lame excuses has been opened. A provocative one sided US sanctions against Iran are already in place. US Media machinery is all out to bring about another war in this area. These deceitful, crafty efforts are illusionary and making US lead-mighty armed forces to fight yet another ‘phoney war’.

Armies may not be able to bring about victory in phoney wars. They can bring havoc and destruction in the land but can’t win by declaring some imaginary shadows and illusions as their enemies.

We all know that Oil supply from Middle East wells is a life line and is keeping western economies rolling. US may be in hurry to fully bring the entire Middle Eastern oil producing enclave in to their folds; before this that their old adversary Russia; sooner, she wakes up and snatches away this opportunity from them.(Signs are there)

It is God designs that on this planet earth; the rich, flourishing and technologically advanced economies lie in the west but their life line feed (oil) stems from the East. The layout of interdependence, dictated by the nature demands that a fair and befitting deal to bring about some Barter Systems be put in place and be run with all the fairness of its business terms.

This may need a visionary to come up with a justifiable system and win the hearts and minds of people. Invading the countries and thrusting the policy of extermination of innocent inhabitants dotting around their pits of oil or creation of terror or make them starved by imposing sanctions may not be the solution. It may make the heads bow but that does not bend the minds.

I agree this is the final step for attacking Iran. This Administration will not stop at anything short of creating chaos in the Middle East to drive oil prices up the roof. Before the war on Iraq a barrel of oil was about $ 18 now it is over $ 90.
