Jimmy Carter

The hawks have taken to the Sunday morning air to beat the war drums over Iran, while those who oppose them, including former President Jimmy Carter, try to prevent a disaster worse than Iraq. TPM TV has this roundup.

This is worth repeating:

Jimmy The Dhimmi Carter [...] was fucked in the ass by the Ayatollah back in ‘79 and hasn’t walked it off yet.

Not. The Reagan campaign fucked him in the ass. The Iran hostage crisis was not Carter’s making, nor was the “malaise” that he had to try to clean up after Nixon and Ford trashed the economy.

Troll.

I disagree that an attack on Iran before next November’s election would help the Republicans.  An attack would result in an Iranian response that chokes off the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz.  Now allied with Iran, Hugo Chavez would probably halt the 1.2 million barrels of oil Venezuela exports daily to the United States.  If you don’t like paying $3 a gallon at the pump now, how’d you like to see it at $10?  Meanwhile, an attack on Iran will necessarily result in attacks against Israel, either directly by Iran or through their proxies in the middle east.  Attacks against other U.S. interests in the Muslim world would spread like wildfire.  This is going to be good for Republicans?  And after the ensuing hyperinflation and a deep recession, what would be the long-term prospects for the Republican party?  An attack would be disastrous for the nation.

I wish this was just sabre-rattling by Bush & Cheney in order to work the best deal possible with Iran, but from the experience of Iraq we now know that Bush had no intention of negotiating with Saddam Hussein when given the abilility to use the carrot and the stick: he had no carrots.  Too bad we have Democrats in Congress who are too afraid to appear weak on defense rather than standing strong on principles.

Just listened to Bush on the Radio, sounds like he is posturing, but still in the rattling stages? We need to change the government in Iran to our liking and image, from what is what I get from his comments.

Maybe the US should get out of the puppet government business, success seem very low, on the other hand money flows to the coffers of the special Military complex so we go in?

Jimmy Carter has more substance in his little toe then you could produce in your dark, little lifetime.

This is worth repeating:

Jimmy The Dhimmi Carter is the last person anyone should be listening to about Iran. He was fucked in the ass by the Ayatollah back in ‘79 and hasn’t walked it off yet.

We must first demonize them to make them enemy, then we attack and kill them for they are only demons.  And our troops are cannon fodder.  what is wrong with this picture?  Impeachment is not an option nor is peace!

The only way the republicans will be reelected is by stiring patriotic ferver and the best way to do that is to start a war. They will bomb iran right before the election then if you vote against them they will make you feel like a traitor.

I believe this administration knows that the republicans haven’t much of a chance in ‘2008 , well except for all the voter election fraud they have already put into place….But lets just say that they are unsuccessful in rigging the election enough to overcome the huge stench Bush / cheney have put on the GOP. They seem to be leaving as big a mess as they can for the democratic pick in 2008. Such a mess that there is no way that anyone, democrat , republican or enlightend alien can fix in four years. In the hopes that gets the GOP back in the white house in 2012…..Maybe Bro. Jeb - huh ? The Turd Blossum has already relocated down near Bro. Jeb’s place in Florida, probably already working the big plan to keep the Bush Dynasty intact..surely we will have forgotten about all this in 4 years, ofcourse the media will do their patriotic part in keeping us un-informed and entertained.

Hilary arms her nukes. Hilary Clinton just told an audience in U.S. that if Iran did not stop its nuclear weapons operations she wouldn’t take nuking them off the table. I wonder if she got the ‘Iran nuclear weapons’ info from her iraq WMD sources?
